Hi all as you know Im jetting the bike And have some questions that some of you with a bit more carb/jet exsperiance may beable to clarify 1,when I stripp the carbs is it worth replacing any orings seals ect ect also the jets in the dynokit seem smaller than the standard jets that are already in the carbs is this normal as I beleive they may look smaller but the flow of the jet is what will count and the difference in the needles also I came across this on the net this is what I mean by jet size mine are 100 main jets mikuni http://www.jetsrus.com/FAQs/FAQ_mikuni_vs_dynojet_vs_keihin_sizes.htm as you will see there is a difference between mikuni and dynojets the dynojets I have are dj094,098,100 any help would be great
  2. The kit came today so as soon as I get some spare time will make a start fitting it maybe after xmas though only got 2days off work will update when I start post some pics ect ect

  9. This what should happen or use to happen to cat b The following conditions are in place for all Category B vehicles. Please ensure these conditions are maintained in all cases: 1.A CoD should be completed using the DVLA online system for all Category B vehicles purchased from Bluecycle 2.Details of the CoD should be forwarded to Bluecycle within one month of the vehicle purchase 3.A copy of the CoD should be retained for possible further auditing 4.Motorcycles are required to have the headstock removed from the frame. This should be retained and will be subject to further auditing 5.All vehicles with a separate cab and chassis are required to have the chassis section holding the stamped VIN cut out. This should be retained for further auditing
  10. I think the last four digits will be removed due to cat b,the insurance may have asked this to be done instead of cutting the head stock off

Change of plan slightley with the crap weather weve had,and the place been flooded twice where the bike was going Im doing it meself with a little help off a mate who has the know how Just orderd the kit thanks to the wife will post more once I start just got to find which never returned my morgan vac gauges

    Im on me second hjc and love them great for those on a budget only had one problem but hjc sorted it free
  17. I wouldnt waste a £1.00,upto 60% of engine failure is down to coolant problems get some good branded stuff and make sure its the correct type for your bike or car
