Welcome to the forum Phil I think it's very important if you wear glasses to try the helmet on. Arai for me were very good had 3, the worst for me was a very expensive Foggy rep Shark, it always bent my right ear over, cost me a fortune had to go out and buy another Arai. I now have a Shuberth C3 very expensive but great quality, I wanted this because i wanted to try a built in dark visor and flip up. i have to wear ear plugs though because despite their claims its the quietest flip front its still noisier than a full face IMHO.

it depends what you have at the time i suppose. i had 2 yams back to back and the Thunderace for me( had it over 7 years from new ) was the best bike iv'e had untill i got my Hayabusa. so ive now had 2 suzukis back to back and the busa is definatly the best bike ive ever had. but thats because it's to me at least, just like a big modern thunderace. so my vote at the moment is suzuki. and my worst would de triumph hated my 955i daytona centenial -
