  1. expensive for what they are BMX's. My last one cost nearly £400 =/ dont see why as it was heavy as hell, but liked the mustard colour rofl
  2. do what im doing chad, get a little electric heater, doesnt give off any fumes, heats up fast and will keep the room up to temp. I wouldn't recommend spraying in the bath.. aparently parents can get a bit funny with that Just remember, about 20*C is ideal for drying paint without it bubbling or leaving holes
  3. panel was pretty bad, so i've filled it all in, and sanded the lot, so the whole panel will be sprayed tomoz instaid of just the *worse* part oh god it tax'd and insured so will try it out tomoz while i wait for paint to dry
  4. bit more of a update Bit of sanding before another lot of filler/primer some black primer on the main panel to see how bad/ how much more filler will be needed and where.. and a filled, primed and painted mudguard!
  5. why pay someone to do something i can do myself And like i said before, not wanting to spend £150 just for a sticker set. I could re do the whole panels, but for now i want it looking presentable for when i get it on the road in a few weeks time I redone a smashed TT600 in Mercedes silver back end of last year, paint was like glass when i finished, so this should be easy as 1.2..3...

    hi

welcome! if you dont mind a bit of banter and p*ss taking you will fit right in! ain't that right Dave?
  7. yea,h panel should be back off tomoz for a rub down and hopefully a lick of paint! filler only takes 20 minutes to set before you can rub it down but leaving it over night, let it set nice and hard Brilliant stuff, uses the same hardener as fibre glass so got plenty of it incase i run out
  8. Well atm, i want it looking presentable. the panel on the left thats got the major damage is upwards of £150, then the stickers to match are again, around £150.. now £300 for a tiny panel is steep, so i will do a tart up patch up for now, got some filler on it as we speak which should be dry by the morning ready for a sand down
  9. i know the feeling mate, ive been made redundent and that sucks, but keep ya head up! its never nice but at the end of the day, you still got your job which is the main part! and a bit more training never hurt aye?
