A44 Dyffryn Castell A470 Rhayader A44 Crossgates Back down A44 to Leominster and Home about 110mile to go depending on weather conditions total about 350 mile leave about 8.30am arrive back around 9.00pm-10.00ish Lunch time 30-45 minutes 3 to 4 fuel stops This is a good ride done by my self many times but over the last 20 odd years. An endurance for man and machine If the weather is to bad to go over the mountain pass to Tregaron my back up plan is to cut out Aberystwth and visit Elan Valley.before the return trip.cool
  4. Have a good look at the coil springs on the front shocks the ends snap off! check the wheels are tight to.

  8. I Run them in my XS and there is a big difference but than any thing on that beast makes a difference. But I recon on a more modern bike with high reving motors and cleaner burning ignition set ups might not be as noticeable.
  9. Funny thing I did just the same and it took forever, I started about 9pm and it was still doing sumat at 1am in the morning many beers later I pulled the plug and said stuff that! Next day I booted the TomTom up only to be told no maps found!HAAAAAAAAAAAAA! It was a week old thay replaced it there and then for the next model up coooooool,I will never update it again.
  10. Good call and I don't dismis the idea but you get 50,000 bikes + cars and trucks there and camaron & Osbourn are rubbing there fat little hands together. think of all the fuel duty they make that day lovly !!!!they will do sod all...........

    Thanks for that good wright up,my first impresion was it looked very long and has some rake on the front end.interesting though.How long dose the belt last between changes and is it doable down the shed?
