I really hate to admit it but its true, Facebook is very active. I don't know why I visit the Facebook forum there more than here You could join and only use the Hutch's forum and ignore requests from anywhere/one else, it seems a lot of hassle to set up but its not and like here you only post and view what and when you want too.

You posted any pictures yet of your dads new bike Mike?
Dick personally I like the 1250 especially as you've had a good test ride on one and think its a great all-rounder, its defo the one i'd go for! -
Well was going to pop down to see you Mike but at 18:40 the heavens opened and I thought "sod that" hope you stayed dry...ish Mike and picked up the bike ok! Me and Mark were looking at a couple of z1000sx's last week in Billau's stunning condition.

@BanditMike wrote:Same here mate. But looks like I'll be down on the Saturday morning rather than the Friday. Not too bad as it gives me the Saturday night!!
Thats a shame Mike be good to all go down together, but as long as you make the ride-out all's good! -
@madcarper wrote:@gravelrash wrote:looks a good fix Ian, one daft question- what stops the block the adjuster is in from dropping and losing tension? is it just the tightness of the allen bolt or is there a back to the triangular bracket stopping the billet block from swinging down? or am I talking gibberish?
good question young man, right see the rod on the original tensioner set up, that goes into the big bolt in the alloy block which is drilled out like a gun barrel that bolt is locked in position with the big nut against the alloy block, the allen bolt holding the block in the tensioner is then secured with red fast setting Loctite on a single use locknut and tensioned to 75 ft/lb . this stops the tensioner flapping about and hitting the clutch basket , got it.
Got it! thanks for the info. Oh "great Oracle" -

If I may use the forum to thank Ian for sorting the couple of rusty stone chips on the roof of my car, they might have been small but had already infected the metal (11 plate x-trail) and bugged the hell out of me anyway cracking job mate cheers!

@fr499y wrote:Yeah we got a 2015 crossrunner as well. Now that is the best of both worlds! i would seriously look at getting one of them over the yamaha, If only they fitted USD forks and not RWU!!
Give me rwu forks any day just ask Mark what a pain changing seals were on his Busa. Always liked the VFR's so I would prob be my choice. Good luck with your new work venture Alan! -
Good luck tomorrow with the interview Chad really hope you can make the ride-out I'm sure we can help if you need it!
Its bad everywhere just been told today we're 200 drivers surplus and the company can't carry them so they will have to go, not sure which depots are gonna be hit yet
Anyway keep us informed tomorrow how it went mate! -

Nice to get it almost sorted Chad! cos the clock is counting down fast for the rideout! Just deciding whether to get new rubber for mine or not the tyres are borderline at the mo so might have to bite the bullet!
