just been helping a mate fit a new clutch in his bmw/mini he has one of those snap on impact drivers costing him about 650 pounds by the time he eventually pays for it, must say i was very impressed with it Stan loads of torque and power and everything is covered including batteries for life......just too expensive for diy use!

I took a good looking girl back to hers, she had her sister in the bed next to her and a family of foreigners in the rest of the room (mental) we were watching tv and i was stroking her back getting in the mood. Then for no reason i had a row with the foreigners  (which fooked the mood) then i was sat on a couch and my m8 was reading the star and smoking his vape pipe whilst my other m8 was doing his homework in an other room. And in never saw the girl agian. Feckin gutted. scratch

  3. NoNoNoNoNoNo I'm like Ian, hardly go on Facebook! Think its just that time of year, but can see where your coming from Dave! been thinking the same about the bike too! Sad (But apparently I have said the same thing at this time of year for the last 30 years!)
Seen Facebook cause a lot of trouble for a lot of people by a few idiots! also if you saw scammers last night on tv its amazing the information accessible to fraudsters if your not careful.
cheer up everyone Christmas is coming! hide

  4. We suffer from fly tipping really bad at work because the depot is getting run down, everything from building waste to green waste dumped by the truck load. We run off generators for all our power needs (mains copper cables stolen 3 times) so as its a big site running cctv is not viable, it can be very depressing sometimes, some people have no respect and want to make a few pounds no mater who they effect...........think I need to get out on the bike!

I researched my gsx 1250fa (second hand) for months they were all around the same price but got mine through MCN for a thousand cheaper with really low miles and all the extras I would have bought ( I don't do finance so paid cash) - it was taken in part ex so they were selling it cheap to make room for new stock - also ex demo bikes can be had cheap as well so worth taking your time - mine was from Worthing and im in Cumbria delivery was only £130 thumbs

and I still haven't seen it!!! Sad soon hopefully! thumbs

As Dave says cheaper isn't necessarily best, as a rule of thumb down I have found you get what you pay for and a thousand pounds cheaper would suggest an issue somewhere BUT a thousand pounds would probably go a long way towards sorting any trouble but it doesn't sound like you will get any help from the dealer, hope you get sorted though. thumbs

Unless he doesn't know the road Dick, then he is quite happy to let a half blind old biker lead the way (cos someone on a FUBAR nicked my glasses) then its fine to be at the back!!! tongue2

  7. Cool Nice Chad thumbs its good to see your starting to calm down in your old age and go for the sensible option Laughing  thumbs.........Unlike Dick who at his age should be getting into old Brit stuff not looning around on big Jap monsters! Wink  wavehide

I had the pilot road 2 on my bandit, good tyres. I'm not too bothered about wet weather grip dave as I try not to use the bike in those conditions so want to try a more sport orientated tyre. anyway I just don't like the tread pattern on the 4's  twist

Just renewed the tyres on my Bandit again with the PR2's Ian got them really cheap as a set cos they are getting on a bit now but are great on the Bandit! and have had no worries in the past. thumbs
