Anyone else had a similar issues .So now i cover my wheels before i wash the bike and the brakes have been fine. I'm sure the say its safe to use on braking equipment. Like Dave think i'll give your stuff a go thanks Bladerunner

  6. Hi darkember, I have a bandit 1200k5 and have a close fitting pyramid plastics hugger, when I had a new tyre fitted there was a very load transmission howl which was eventually traced to the hugger resonating, possibly caused by the altered profile of the tyre. I swiched to the standard guard, problem gone. Now the tyre has a couple of thou miles I've switched back, ok so far. I'm also replacing my chain and sprockets and the O.E.M front engine sprocket has a damping rubber to cut transmission noise could yours be an aftermarket sprocket without this damper? just a couple of thoughts and hope you find a cure. Mike.

  8. Hi In 27 years of riding i've never heard of a policy that transfers no claims from car to a new bike policy I hope you find one. Now if you have an accident on your car they are quite happy to load your bike policy as a result

  13. Thought i'd be healthy and take some blueberries to work, they were in a plastic container in the top of a back-pack, the bag was then placed in my topbox, then off to work. The twelve miles is a mixture of twisties and dual carriageway. Took my bag out at work opened it up to find the blueberry container had opened and the insides looked like i'd poured a bottle of Ribena in, everything was covered in the stuff . Think in future i'll just take an apple
