is that a genuine stratos or a kit? -
personally I think its a waste of money. I've never noticed any difference in mpg or performance and one thing to consider is that premium petrol doesn't sell as much as the normal stuff so the fuel in the petrol station tanks has probably been there a lot longer, doesn't take long for modern petrol to go off. -
Can't believe its been 13 years since we lost the greatest ever road racer. RIP Joey. -
question for anybody around Leicester/Newark area. since the new A46 dual carriageway between Newark and Melton Mowbry's been open can you still get on the old road? -
Apparently he had an operation last night and is on his way back to assen. He's going to try and race tomorrow. Hard as nails. -

you can put money on it. every time I go on holiday out of the country theres a heatwave here and if I don't go abroad it hammers it down. word of warning ,nobody plan anything for the week commencing 15th July, Im on holiday and I'm not going abroad. -

that's not far from where were going, flying to Dalaman airport and stopping at Hisaronu near Fethiye and Olu Deniz. make sure you go on the river boat trip to the mudbath and to see the Loggerhead turtles. Also if you can get there Fethiye market on a Tuesday is good as well@Grumpyowl wrote:Me and She that should be obeyed are going to Turkey for the 1st time in September
where are you going?
We're going to olu dinez first time to Turkey.
Going B&B in Hotel as we like to go for a stroll at night and pick a nice restaurant.
You will love it. Olu Deniz is a very picturesque place especially the blue lagoon, one tip though, when your walking along the sea front make sure you look up before you cross a street as the paragliders come in to land down the main road. Take the dolmus into fethiye on a Tuesday for the market, it will have you in stitches. Also its worth getting the dolmus to Kaya Koi a deserted greek village, really quiet and eerie. -
well we got there at about 12 ish on sunday, the big tent that was there for the show in January has gone so everything was outside apart from the 2 barns. not a great deal in the way of bikes and what really peed me off was the traders outside packing up at 1o'clock. I accept it might be a bit quiet but when you've paid a tenner to get in you don't expect to only get half a show. anyhow heres some pictures.
Mr Valentine
this blokes a bit handy round a rock in the irish sea

Last week we had
A good day to Die hard
cheesy and predictable, not one of the best and a bit of a no brainer.
last night
Jack Reacher
a bit thinky for a Saturday night but an excellent and very clever film. -

well I just booked our holiday for September . were off to Turkey again so you can bet your life the weather over here will be spectacularly hot while were away, it usually is.

depends if its 180 or 190, its 50% or 55% of the tyre width so a 190 50 would be 95mm from the outer edge to the rim and a 190 55 would be 104.5mm. Its enough to make a difference to the feel of how the bike turns in and also it will alter your speedo reading slightly. another thing to watch for is the sidestand length, if you put a taller tyre on the bike will lean over more on the sidestand. -
a bead breaker, some big tyre levers, some rim protectors, tyre soap a balancer and a big compressor to blow them up quick enough to pop them on the rim, otherwise try and find a friendly shop that's got them all and will change them for a tenner a wheel. -
just found these. http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo.aspx?catref=902650&tier1url=Tyres&tier2url=Tyre-Offers&tier3url=Michelin
been using these tyres for years and I cannot fault them. really grippy, make the bike feel sharp and they last well, I usually get around 4500 from a rear and about 6-7000 a front. -
