  1. Perhaps not quite the angel he was made out to be Nelson Mandela was the head of UmKhonto we Sizwe, (MK), the terrorist wing of the ANC and South African Communist Party. At his trial, he had pleaded guilty to 156 acts of public violence including mobilising terrorist bombing campaigns, which planted bombs in public places, including the Johannesburg railway station. Many innocent people, including women and children, were killed by Nelson Mandela’s MK terrorists. Here are some highlights

-Church Street West, Pretoria, on the 20 May 1983

-Amanzimtoti Shopping complex KZN, 23 December 1985

    -Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court, 17 March 1988

-Durban Pick ‘n Pay shopping complex, 1 September 1986

-Pretoria Sterland movie complex 16 April 1988 – limpet mine killed ANC terrorist M O Maponya instead

    -Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court, 20 May 1987

-Roodepoort Standard Bank 3 June, 1988

Mandela supported some of the worst dictatorships and human rights abusers in the world: Fidel Castro, Ghaddafi in Libya, China, Suddam Hussein in Iraq, Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe....the list goes on. No one too evil to visit
or welcome in South Africa by Mandela, yet he was celebrated as a human rights champion by the worlds bleeding hearts

over 100 000 people were murdered under Mandela's presidency - an average of 25 000 people each year. Up from 170 a year under Apartheid (1948-1989).

in the first four years of his presidency, the South African
currency lost 80% of its value and 2.8 million working days were lost due to
strikes. the national debt doubled under Mandela.

Nelson Mandela was a failure. Not the magical myth we're supposed to believe in. The bleeding hearts may have repackaged and re-branded him, but underneath he's still the same murdering terrorist he always was.

  2. if you take a policy out on the new bike and tell them you intend to fit the security device they will cover you but suspend theft insurance until you fit the device. When you do fit it tell them and they will instantly re-instate the cover. Alternatively, and this could prove dodgy if anything happens, just don't tell them the security isn't fitted yet, if your going to fit it more or less straight away I cant see the problem.

The long and the short of it is I would like somthimg that makes me smile as soon as I open the door and is in general easy to use but can be an animal when necessary

Firestorm possibly. Nice v-twin  thumbs    TL1000?
i like the idea of a firestorm its on my list and has been for a while but as ive never owned a twin and have heard a few horror storys of massive engine breaking it does put me off a bit but any advice as always is appreciated also whats the difference between the models SP1 SP2 etc and if i could get one in the castrol colours it would be great.
    /t5785-honda-vtr-firestorm?highlight=firestorm

a SP1/SP2 isn't a firestorm, the Firestorm is a big lazy sports tourer and the SP1 and SP2 are full on sports bikes developed by HRC to race in world superbikes. The SP1 had a very snatchy throttle response which can be improved with a power commander and cans but HRC sorted this out on the SP2 by using a heavier flywheel and other fueling mods. I also worried about the massive engine braking from a twin until I got my Ducati but to be honest it isn't a problem at all and the V twin configuration makes a lot of sense on the road giving loads of mid range grunt so you don't have to be doing 100 mph+ to be in the power. Brake pads last a lot longer as well.

  5. on some Suzukis the power is limited in the lower gears, fitting a TRE fools the ecu into thinking its in a higher gear so giving you full power in all gears. and yes they do work, how well depends on how much your bikes been limited. They can make the bike a bit harder work at low speed though.
