  10. just spent 5 1/2 hours changing a couple of end cans,an ecu,air filter and a steering damper.I've never worked on a bike as awkward as a Ducati, got to take the entire fairing off just to change the air filter
  11. well the deal is done, picking it up in 2 weeks, gives me a chance to take the termignoni's off the Ducati and also theyre a bit busy next week with the new registration coming out, thought it better to wait another week then its not going to get rushed throught the workshop.
  12. well I might have bought this I put a deposit down on it to hold it for a few days till I can get over to have a look at it and if for some reason I dont like or want it then I get my deposit back.Weather permitting I should have some news on Saturday. Its a UK bike 2012 reg, traction control model and its a limited edition, one of 2000 made to celebrate Yamaha's 50th anniversary.
  13. there is but it hammers the battery as it uses the gps, this box knows if your bike suddenly falls over while its moving then stays on its side for something like 10 minutes they contact your phone and if you dont answer or call back they send an ambulance.
  14. went to the MCN bike show yesterday at the Excel center in London and there was a guy there giving these away for free http://www.bipsosbikes.com/index.html he said there was no charge,no subscription fees, nothing at all to pay as they are just launching it,so I got one.If its true I think its a damn good idea as I tend to ride on my own a lot and if I come off in the middle of nowhere I might be there for days.
  15. she states she had the phone in her lap after answering a brief incoming call, the offence is holding a mobile phone whilst in control of a motor vehicle,so how did she answer the phone, she must have had hold of it therefore she committed an offence.but what does the truth have to do with it when its only another pesky biker..
  16. apparently they are worth the price for the genuine anoraks bit the majority of people put Akront rims on theyre half the price but they tend to think he's trying to get shut soon because borrani have started making them again so thats going to drop the price.
