A lockdown at XXXXXX School in ?? has been lifted. The school was locked down at about 2:40 p.m. PT Thursday after a man, who was not believed to be a student, was seen inside the school by several staff members. Staff did not recognize the man so they alerted the school liaison officer and the lockdown procedure was initated as a precaution. The school was shut down for about two hours as police searched the building for the man. The Emergency Response Team was called in to help with the search. Police said the response is not unusual under the circumstances. Police say the man who sparked the lockdown has not been found, and it is not clear why he was in the school or if he posed a threat. I was in my class squished up in the corner and got cramps my teacher missed her appointment..lol. and the band class was still playing music....had to stay like 1 and a half hours after school waiting to c if we could leave ok, so like my teacher was texting the teacher next door and that teacher said that she saw armed police officers coming into the school with armour and guns... :S good thing no one was hurt. and good thing i missed my presentation
