Personally I think that it's crap that any back markers should move over in any racing - they are having their own race after all and if it brings a runaway leader back towards the chasing pack then it gets more exciting. Let's face it, if all the back marker and 'other rider' issues are taken away, you'll just end up with a time trial. Senna never had a problem overtaking back markers.....

How/Where did you find yours ?

All the early ones came via the paper [1] two from forums [2] one from a mate [3] and everything else over the last dozen years off of ebay [4]. Never bought from a dealer-with-a-shop. [1] Before t'internet was uploaded [2] Not one-make ones, for obvious reasons of ridiculously silly prices [3] Which turned out to be nicked! [4] Oh and the TZR came via Yahoo auctions - remember them? -

1 - lots of cash: ZZR1400 - the 11s are pricey for a fossil and the 12s are pig ugly. Maybe a large Beemer if you like buying the aspiration. 2 - medium cash: Triumph Sprint ST 1050 - lovely. Suzuki V-strom if you don't mind dull, or a Blackbird if that sort of stigma appeals . 3 - low cash (but may be a money pit) How about an old Pan Euro 11? VFR or a late model Thunderace. But you absolutely must have a decent ride on them Stu, because just because it seems overly sporty does not necessarily relate to comfort - one of my old bosses bought a blackbird because he was 6'3 and said it was the most uncomfortable bike he had ridden and swapped it for a (comfy to him) R6. The ex wife had a dodgy back, couldn't cope well with commuter style bikes (ER5, GS5, RF6, ZZR6) so went for a cruiser, which was fine for about 20 minutes but then left her in agony. Turned out she was fine all day on my TZR, which had the raciest position of them all. -
