  1. Won't load for me either. Is it the one where the guy gets done for speeding and as all mouth in court? If so, then Robbies description is bang on
  2. Good read Stue, although it would be nice to know how much of those accident stats were in relation to part worn boots. I'll admit to buying 'part worn' in the past, primarily dictated by finances and the desire to stay 'legal' for a bit. Been a couple of years though, mainly because local place typically wants £25 fitted with about 3mm and other local place will do a new no-name budget for £40... Yes I would have much preferred a nice set of Michs all round, but not when the cost is more than the car is worth Now if you did SC1s or Metz Interacts for that we could be friends
  3. I've got a similarly disproportionate gut
  4. Like I said in the other recent ebay thread, Paypal almost always comes down on the buyers side. Has he sent you a photo of the alleged scratch? Personally, I'd sooner stand the cost of return postage, have him send it back and give the a full refund rather than let him have his £20 - unless he had fecked the can by trying to polish it. I reckon it's got a lot worse since ebay prevented you from leaving negative feedback for buyers. The chancers know that your options are fairly limited and they get to keep an unblemished record. Although in the last 6 months or so I've had the most grief off of low value stuff - even got neg feedback for some stuff under a quid!
  5. Nah it don't sound daft just because someone else thinks it's an old mans bike, or horrible in any other way, it's what *you* like that counts. Not everyone's cup of tea, but at least you have enough spine to go with what you want
  6. At least he had a lid and gloves on, which seems to be more than a lot of youtube Merkins have. Flew well though didn't he
  7. Christ dude, that was like pulling teeth! Glad you're getting something that you have wanted though - always a good achievemnt Enjoy mate
  8. You couldn't take the exhaust on the Scrambler, the Thruxton isn't iconic enough to be an 'always wanted' and I don't know what the 4th model is, so I'm going with a Bonny
  9. Don't work me me neither Well either that or I'm useless at maffs
  10. Hmmmm, You're not old enough to be having a mid-life crisis and start wearing a bandanna and fingerless leather gloves, so that rules out the cruisers. You like carbon fibre exhausts too much to go for one of the retro models... Gotta be the Tiger
  11. Ho yuss Dave it was 'PM' - you'd be in the pub
  12. ...my pizza is already 2 minutes late <drums fingers>
  13. Kawasaki GPz305 - the one with the belt drive and the forks made out of cheese - only *just* better than walking. Kawasaki Z250 Scorpion - set fire to itself on the A46 on the way home. The melted bits sat on the patio for a while...
  14. Think it took me 2 fag breaks Mind you it didn't slow down progress much as the missus was forever diving in the tat shops
  15. Is it something with a back end as wide as the Amoco Cadiz, with gold wheels by any chance?
  16. Yes, I don't get the 'allow access' bit either, but it seems to work fine if you just copy the image URL and paste it into the message body
  17. Congrats on your new bike-to-be fella, sounds like it makes perfect sense.
  18. The . Clearly the yoofs were utterly stupid - I mean, why nick a bike that sounds like a bag of spanners? Can't see it ever getting better though - as Matt says it can be a downward spiral.
  19. Hello and welcome to the forum. It is a far nicer place to reside than most other forums
  20. Robin Hood's Bay? Surprised you managed to get back up the hill mate
