  1. Bad news fella Fingers crossed for a decent prognosis.
  2. One of the things I didn't get was why would you spend all day wire brushing the paint off the wheels, rather than just get it shot blasted off?
  3. It was a bit "Pulling Power" stylee dull, but still good to have a bike programme on the box that doesn't include the rancid cookers.
  4. The red one, obviously. I mean, you could flog the Ohlins and bits and pieces and buy a bike with a fairing
  5. Personally I think that it's crap that any back markers should move over in any racing - they are having their own race after all and if it brings a runaway leader back towards the chasing pack then it gets more exciting. Let's face it, if all the back marker and 'other rider' issues are taken away, you'll just end up with a time trial. Senna never had a problem overtaking back markers.....
  6. Keep smiling Chad, it puts off the crying Oh and *never* say "it can't get any worse...."
  7. Gotta be worth a look. TV Guide give it a good rating (which often means it's rubbish) but still gonna be way better than the soaps
  8. If it was that muppet selling the CB350, the ad is here: Clicky *Note* contains repeated unamusung use of the f-word.
  9. All the early ones came via the paper [1] two from forums [2] one from a mate [3] and everything else over the last dozen years off of ebay [4]. Never bought from a dealer-with-a-shop. [1] Before t'internet was uploaded [2] Not one-make ones, for obvious reasons of ridiculously silly prices [3] Which turned out to be nicked! [4] Oh and the TZR came via Yahoo auctions - remember them?
  10. The lastest in portable motorcycle storage facilities..... [img][/img]
  11. Dave's got 50% of that sorted
  12. "Avoids unnecessary spending" TYVM In my defence I did once buy a digital bike one for the GPz so I could have it backlit all the time, but it got on me nerves
  13. It's not an itch, it's an infection. Antibiotics should fix it
  14. I still can't see any real advantages of 7 over XP yet
  15. 1 - lots of cash: ZZR1400 - the 11s are pricey for a fossil and the 12s are pig ugly. Maybe a large Beemer if you like buying the aspiration. 2 - medium cash: Triumph Sprint ST 1050 - lovely. Suzuki V-strom if you don't mind dull, or a Blackbird if that sort of stigma appeals . 3 - low cash (but may be a money pit) How about an old Pan Euro 11? VFR or a late model Thunderace. But you absolutely must have a decent ride on them Stu, because just because it seems overly sporty does not necessarily relate to comfort - one of my old bosses bought a blackbird because he was 6'3 and said it was the most uncomfortable bike he had ridden and swapped it for a (comfy to him) R6. The ex wife had a dodgy back, couldn't cope well with commuter style bikes (ER5, GS5, RF6, ZZR6) so went for a cruiser, which was fine for about 20 minutes but then left her in agony. Turned out she was fine all day on my TZR, which had the raciest position of them all.
  16. You gotta be kidding? I get the "we won't take it if the lid won't shut" but never heard of that before. As an aside, why do wheelie bins have a dBa rating on them?
  17. Ta for those I think the gpx was an 80's thing.
  18. Can anyone think of a 250cc 4-stroke bike that: Isn't a trailie/crosser Isn't Chinese or Korean Manufactured after 1990 and prior to 2000 Was a proper UK bike not a 'grey' I can only think of the Honda CB or the Suzuki GN any more?
