  1. Why's it hard to do on a Bandit then Dave? The only other problem I've had was on a GPz with extra long bolts holding them in, loads of threadlock and butchered phillips heads .
  2. Neat idea, but as the base model starts at £1350 I'd probably not get one.
  3. Are they handwritten? Do they smell of Brut? Do they contain references to the stamina of the young?
  4. [quote="Davehutch"]Is it easy ?? Yes, unless they are Triumph TT ones, which have a 3.5mm allen headed bolt that is made of soft cheese. Seriously fella, it's easier than fitting mirror extenders
  5. Have done in the past but only if we bond My van is called Nigel. He told me that was his name. (feck, I'm sounding a bit Gaz-ish there!)
  6. Erm, yeah they knew that too. And what pizzas I was going to order....
  7. Sparkling, I'll have 3 black & 3 white car ones & 3 white visor ones please. Chuck us a pm with your paypal addy on
  8. Hi Chad, are these the car ones or the visor ones?
  9. Does look better than the silver. Did you buy the black ones or paint / powder coat over the silver?
  10. ....when you ring up for a pizza delivery and the shop recognises the phone number and greets you by name? I don't eat *that* many.....
  11. Spotted elsewhere, this ebay seller evidently thinks that this is an acceptable way to market motorcycle parts. Not only is it sexist, degrading and clearly aimed at the stereotypical knuckle-dragging bloke bike owner, but it took me ages to actually notice any bike parts: Parts Barn on Ebay (Don't click if you're likely to flounce!) I'm quite fond of the '71 Bultaco engine bottom end
  12. I can confirm that a 20 foot long rope light fed through an inverter in a tank bag drains a bike battery rather quickly
  13. If the Devil cast his net...... Good pics though fella
  14. OK Dave, this is made on the following assumptions: 1) Your phone is an HTC Desire 2) Your phone charger is rated at 500mA 3) You B-King battery is rated at 10 Amp Hours. You can draw 500 mA from a 10A battery for 20 hours before the voltage drops to 10.5v (flat) [1][2][3] Plug your charger in and test the current drain with a multimeter to get a more accurate estimate. [1] In reality it might only pull 200mA, thus extending your available charge time [2] Assuming reasonable ambient temperature, no other loads like alarms etc [3] If my maths is right
  15. good news... ...Then again it's more presents to buy!!
  16. That's a touch too much If you don't have a spare regulator in stock, and don't mind a bit of fiddling about, a common mod is to fit one off of something else. Laddo used one off a late model CBR600 IIRC, but the best bet is allegedly from an '06 onwards R1 which runs a lot cooler due to not being a 'shunt' type apparently.
