Hi Dave! Hope you used a proper membrane-safe detergent such as Nikwax TechWash? As for the reproofing, use Nikwax TX-Direct. The wash-in easier, but the spray-on allows you to choose areas to spray for better proofing. I'll get moaned at for telling you where you can purchase it from... Hope this helps mate!

Completeley agree. Ive often thought i'd prefer to not have it and just pay up if needs be if i ever had an accident. Ive never understood how they are able to just pick and choose the price at their own will either... I hear what ya saying but, bear in mind if you were to have an accident and somebody was killed you could face charges for manslaughter as much as insurances are a rip off id rather pay it and keep me liscense clean as im sure youd agree Definately mate i allways have insurance, tax and MOT as it's the law, and i would be seriously peeved if an uninsured driver hit me! Just think maybe its time for a change in how we do things as a country

Not sure that ever happened mate... As far as im concerned everyone does things that others find annoying, its up to everyone to try and have a bit of tolerance and try to get on for the good of everyone. Hell, if i flew off the handle at everything people do that annoy ne, i'd never get out of bed in the morning...

Iv'e been playing drums (tubthumping lol) since i was 9. Also DJ now and do a fair bit of composition and production. Play drums mainly in brass bands, but play in a rock band also. Would try and learn some other instruments but would't know where to hit them lol! Love anything on two wheels and really enjoy road cycling, heres my other bike:

Well, theres a lot of bikes id like to own, notably the Kwak H2, GSX1400, RD350 etc... For the question asked though (in terms of practicality), it would have to a be a nice, clean 1200 S Bandit. Mods: Suspension (USDs and stiffer rear), Paint finish (rust, anyone?), and tow bar so i can trailer my music gear around (and borrow Dave's caravan when i fancy a weekend holding up A-roads lol)...

Used to really get on with people on the BF. However, people left and new people joined. A few of these people like to button-push etc. and after about a week of constant arguing and baiting it's seemed pointless for me to stay - all things to do with biking i do because i want to enjoy... The current mod team do a great job though, and must have the patience of saints to read through some of the handbag-swinging that gets posted on there every day. The technical help side of the forum was also first class. I think it all boils down to forums are what the people make of them

Tubthupming is a nickname for drumming mate, didn't want to use the old forum name as im not planning on keeping the Bandit forever (allthough knowing me i probs will haha)... The only time i've ever been to a gay bar was when you said 'let's go for a rideout to a pub where other leather clad blokes hang out'. Safe to say it weren't a biker bar! Fellow forum-dwellers do not trust this man! haha
