  1. Not sure it would be my choice, but I posted up the link to the "how to" thread on the BK forum.
  2. Hole saw on a drill up both tail pipes, drill through into the silencer box. Shouldn't be too loud. Lots of restriction in the EXUP, Cat and front pipes. Couple of folk on the BK forum have done the drill mod.
  3. Brock was 1st into the 7's with the Bandit, and also supplied parts for the Busa that was 1st into the 6's. Funny enough, in a world of Turbo dragbikes both of these were non-turbo but both ran a big hit of nitrous.
  4. Street tyres, lights, and running in the 6's !
  5. ...because Hayabusa's do, what other bikes dont. Street tyres, lights, and 256 mph....
  6. Never seen the need for one. I grew up on the original GSX's, Z1000's, Katana's etc. You learnt how to ride them. I still ride my Busa and B-King as I would the Bandit or GSX11. If you did something stupid, you found out it hurt! Maybe some bikes / manufacturers are better than others. The big Suzuki's dont seem to wear theirs well. Busa's/Kings launch well if you keep your rev's high, weight forward and then feed the clutch in, but the stock clutch could be a lot better. That's why they do the Brock removal kits.

  8. It mean's the B-King has a crap clutch ! BTL (Back Torque Limiter) stop's you locking the rear wheel when downshifting. It also gives the Busa/King a worse clutch when used hard, or at the drags. You lose the smooth progressive feel that a good clutch should have. Really, IMO its like B-mode. if your ready to ride a B-King, you shouldnt need one. Who stamp's down 4 gears in one go? Mr Safe and Sensible on the street who's not using his bikes potential may not notice, but there are several kits to remove the BTL and its on my "to do list" http://www.brocksperformance.com/Ultra-Light-Billet-Clutch-Mod+I270461+C29.aspx
  9. Like most bike related problems....... the answer is......... HAYABUSA !!!
  10. I keep looking, but no snow yet! None in the last 8 years come to think of it... Did find endless deserted roads this weekend though, if thats any help.....
  11. Different ! I dont see much "Bandit" though.
  12. Its good for me here at the momment. An Aussie $ buy's over a US $, so I pay less than the US listed price. Anything I can get past custom's "valued" at under $1000 there's no import tax. Anything I buy from the UK I dont pay your VAT or our GST(Aussie VAT)/Import tax. I can buy US Yoshi can's or UK Renthal bar's at around 50% of our shop prices! P.S. Our VAT is 10%....
  13. We get a few different exhaust systems together when we go out to play...
  14. A couple of pic's showing how the big ugly things stuck out the back aren't exhaust can's, just naff plastic covers.
  15. I like the Brock's sidewinder pipes. The tail looks great without the can's under it, they give real good performance, only problem for me is.... they are LOUD AS F@CK!!... Even if the cop's left me alone, they'd give me a headache and no one would ride with me!
  16. Apart from the different finishes, Yoshi do 2 different TYPES of can's for the B-King. Although if I was buying on looks it would have to be the BODIS can...
  17. Couple of owners have found if you remove the end cap's off the aftermarket can's (Yoshi's i think... i'll check) you can refit the huge factory tupperware cannon's back over them. Im the opposite Dave. Hate the look's but want to keep at least one bike legal as my "Get out of Jail free card"
  18. I've ran JAP and USA Yoshi's back to back on both my Busa's and swapped them between bikes. The difference was not noticeable to me or my dyno operator. The B-King may be different though. The dual outlet (2 can's, 4 outlets) can's sold by Yoshi in the UK arent available in the US or Australia, so outright performance may not have been a high priority, just looks, not that B-King can's seem very resticive anyway. The B-Kings restrictions seem to be more in the mid pipe cat/EXUP although the front pipes could be a little bigger too.
