  1. No numbers/dates/places from me.... but... Hit the rev limiter/speed restricter on both 04 Hayabusa and B-Kings. (both are speed restriced in stock form) Had a ZZR1100C3 with a few "tweeks" that we ran flat out one night. Had another of my Busa's that was de-restricted (20p 6.8ohm resister) and had a few mod's, re-map, Yoshi system, filter etc etc, that one WAS good, never worked out why, only pulled 163hp on the dyno but had HUGE top end rush to it! I now ride with a few guys with Turbo Busa's. All my stuff seems pretty slow and tame then !
  2. I'd forgotten. ZZR1100 was quite good. Bar/seat/footpegs position and suspension isnt full-on sporty. Did France a few times on it.
  3. Stock ? GSX750ESD. Great comfort, awful 16" front wheel. Mod'ed ? My Current Naked Hayabusa. They are good anyway, but the bar's/raisers etc were done to fit me. 1240 miles in a weekend with a pillion. No drama.
  4. Z650 ? That would be my pick of the bunch. Any more pic's of it ?
  5. Have you hit the speed restricter on the B-King yet Dave ?
  6. I know what you mean Dave. I have a licence to "tag and test" electrical gear. Everything on a work site has to be done every 3 months here. I was going to do a few Mates and local folks as a bit of a part time job but the public liabitity seems more geared up for folk who are full time sparkys. With it i'd work at a loss. Without it my head is on the block if anything went wrong!
  7. I use them but im careful where I buy them from. A few folk have bought them off Ebay and they were just cheap chinese rip-off-fake-cr@p.
  8. Been throught it a few times. "Fixed" too many fox's to count. Mum resently took in a dozen Ex-battery hens. They still layed but not often enough to be profitable. Normaly sent off for meat/pet food, She gave them a 2nd chance. Dog off the local council estate got in and killed them.
  9. I get further on a tank of BP-Ultimate98 than on their regular 95. Done a few 6th gear, 110kph, cruising, long runs up and down the East Coast. Same result everytime. Higher octane get me a little further.

VERY loyal and possesive. Had some work done on the house. Dog met the builter a few times, builder fussed him and they got along fine. Builder turns up when we were back at work, dog try's to take chunks out of builder! Thing follows me everywhere and sleeps outside my bedroom door at night. Gets the sh*t's when I chuck him out of the house.... The Pommie's brought a few dogs out but they couldnt stand the heat, distance, hard life. Thomas Hall cross bred them with Dingo's and created The Australian Cattle Dog.

  14. Warwick Castle would be good.... Notts castle if only for the great art gallery and pub below... Hay on Wye is a favorite, never seen so many book shops ! Telford ? Iron Bridge isnt far from Kidderminster. I used to like the Black Country Living Museum at Dudley but that was a long time a go.
  15. Correct Tony LOTS of Memmories. We had a house in the little street off the roundabout at the end of the road. Used to rent the fields next to and opposite the driveway to farm. Mate John (R.I.P.) had the farm next door that they put the Bewdley bypass through. Parents still farm close enough to hear the lions roar at feeding time !

  17. Last Thursday (March 1st) 1st day of Autumn .............. Will start to cool down soon.
  18. Looks like the West Midlands Safari Park between Kidderminster and Bewdley ?
  19. Yeah, hard to get to sleep this weather.... . . . . . . tried having all the doors and windows open, but it was better with the aircon and ceiling fan going. Went for a walk on the sea front at Redcliff this morning but decided 10-pin bowling was better due to their excellent air-con.
  20. Very valid point. On a very predominantly UK forum I questioned the questioned the relevance of a bike 18,000ks away on a beach in blazing sunshine at Xmas. No stress either way. Happy to be on here...
  21. ...or Plane engine ? One of our Aussie guys chopped the end off a Merlin motor !!!
