  1. Jesus, please help Daisy to pay this bill EASILY WITHOUT ANY STRESS and for her vehicle to not give her any more problems!!!!
  2. Connie--I was just reading how Vitamin B-12 can help cats with this disease; maybe it's worth asking your vet if 1,000 micrograms a day would hurt your little Cloe. Just a thought from a non vet but a lover of animals nonetheless....
  3. This is my favorite part!!!! I was just reading Ezekiel 3 :26 this morning and I thought of my own story here. "I will make your tongue cling to the roof of your mouth, so that you shall be mute and not be one to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious house."
  4. In Hebrew, "Deborah" means "bee." So this is what I say to the bees (sickness) that are harrassing you:
  5. I am not sure if the person responsible for this murder in this same area was a sex offender, but I wouldn't doubt if he were: /t15944-urgent-woman-missing#88037
  6. The woman's body was found today; one suspect is already in custody for her murder.
  7. The supper club I mentioned in this post just burned to the ground, I heard! Nobody knows the reason for the fire. I also heard tonight this area where the dance was has 44 registered sex offenders! That's a lot for a town that doesn't even have 7,ooo people!
  8. I've been having some horrendous fights with workmen's comp (WSI) lately, trying to get my husband's medical supplies, medicine and transportation to medical facilites paid. Last week it seemed like every nurse, receptionist and pharmacist we had to deal with were having a bad day and taking it out on my husband and I. I would stand in line literally hours only to be told we needed to go to another department or a doctor had incorrectly filled out a prescription or something. By the end of the day, I was almost in tears. So this morning I was reluctant to take my husband back to the doctor, to say the least. I asked a couple people to pray for me, and then my husband and I prayed before we saw the doctor today. As I was praying, Psalm 46:1 came so alive to me: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. God showed me he is a PRESENT help. How many times have people promised to help, but when a person needs them, those people are no where to be found? I know this has happened many times to me. But God isn't like that. He is a PRESENT help. When I got home and looked up this passage in my Bible, a footnote says that can be translated "an abundantly available help." Well today, it was as if every person we had to deal with had gotten a memo to be nice. A hospital pharmacist actually offered to call the doctor herself because he had forgotten to order injectable saline earlier so I didn't have to chase down the doctor myself. A receptionist actually smiled. A nurse went out of her way to make sure an order for dressing changes was to my liking. I could go on and on. I know these people were being helpful, but I very much sensed I was being helped by God Himself.
  9. Thank you, Daisy. The FBI is involved in this case now. It has really shaken the whole community--the town only has a population of 5,000 and the residents are used to not even having to lock the doors of their houses. This lady is a beloved math teacher.
  10. Thank you, Connie! 1,000 people turned out this morning to look for her and a helicopter has been dispatched; no word yet.
  11. Last November, I posted an experience I had with a man who touched me inappropriately. /t15555-how-god-protected-me-from-a-creep#85611 Tonight I read an article about a woman my same age and height who lives in that town where I was that night. She went jogging early Saturday morning and has not been found yet even though 200+ people are looking for her. Only her running shoe has been found. Please pray for her!!!!!
  12. I had a teen girl (not related to me) staying at my house one time. She had been on meth and had had a lot of problems at home. I took her to a women's Bible study with me once and was HORRIFIED how the so-called church women sat around a table talking about how terrible teenagers are right in front that teen. I hear the cry of your heart here, Astra! These kids have so much pain and they really really need the Lord to get them through! We need to love on them and pray for them! That teenage girl did accept Jesus later, by the way!
  13. Anytime we pray for someone's salvation we are praying in the will of God, Who wishes that NO man perish, including your dad! Prayin...
  14. A couple weeks ago I was at my wit's end. My stepmom, my husband and my nephew's infant daughter all had serious things going on with their health, I got food poisoning myself and then to top it all off, my clothes dryer quit working. Now in the summer this would be no big deal--I could just hang the clothes out on the clothes line outside--but in the winter it's a lot harder to find places in the house to hang wet laundry, especially when one person in the house is in a wheelchair and needs his space to get around. The local laundromat is extremely busy, and the Lord warned me last year not to go there at night anymore. I prayed and discovered my clothes dryer would still dry a little bit if I put it on a medium heat setting. I found a place off the kitchen I could hang clothes from the ceiling. So my laundry and I limped along. My husband suggested we buy a new dryer and put it on our credit card, but this just didn't feel right to me. God knew I needed a dryer so He would provide. If not, then I was just getting some missionary and patience muscle training. Then a few days ago, money came from an unexpected source that didn't know how much I needed a new dryer. It was enough so I could buy a new one, ptl! When we went to the store, one just "happened" to be on sale--almost 40 percent off! It isn't fancy, but tonight it dried a large load in an hour! So my testimony is I'm glad I have a new dryer, but even more glad God saw my need!
  15. I pray your mother will soon be healed of this affliction. I have missed seeing you on this site, Abigail! I'm also thankful to hear your dad is doing better.
  16. :Happy New Year, Everyone! I was just in my kitchen tonight when the Lord gave me a word for the upcoming year, so I'm superexcited to see how it comes to pass! My husband has a hard time going a lot of places these days because of being in a wheelchair, so we'll likely be at home instead of with extended family New Year's; church family may come over for a visit though, so that's even better!
  17. I woke up with you on my heart this morning, Cholette!
  18. Our God is WELL ABLE to remove the blinders from your friend's eyes, to loosen the hold this woman has on him. Father God, I pray for Cholette, that you will give her the grace to release her friend in her heart. I pray for all the good seeds, all the words of wisdom Cholette has sowed into this man--that they would come to harvest. You say Your Word does not return void and I'm sure Cholette has shared Your Word with him. Give Cholette the right words to share for thie New Year's Eve service, give her revelation straight from your heart, revelation that comes with healing in its wings.
