I am going to watch the German team in football tonight, and do some writing, finish my visits and (did I mention?)... watch Germany and Australia play football! GO GERMANY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it's going downhill at all, in fact, I think that they are a business like any other and they are doing a good job of bringing out fun stuff for people to buy. They are giving new features, they are adding fun items to the cash shop, but they are still releasing regular items that people can buy. I think that it boils down to the idea of 'do I really need everything that they release in any given week'? Others may, but I don't. I think people are too quick to throw out the word 'greed'. I don't think it's about greed, it's about a business and how they want to have profit. so they bring out things that will ensure them a profit. They have the golden goose, and they are utilizing it to their advantage. If you compare PS to games like Happy Pets and Petville, you'd be surprised at how much stuff costs money in those other games. People say 'Zynga gives free petcash'. Perhaps they do, but is that a benefit to the players who can't afford to buy petcash? Not really, when the stuff costs 20 or 30 Petcash each and they have one or two Petcash in their account, what sort of benefit is there to that? I refuse to buy anymore of it because 2/3 of all items there are for Petcash and not for regular coins. I have in Layla Jane's acocunt a six digit figure of regular coins that I can't use because everything is for Pet Cash. With Happy Pets, it's just as bad (if not worse), people have to pay an arm and a leg to adopt a cat. I mean, 80 something credits for a cat is ridiculous. I paid once to buy credits, and it wasn't worth it. I won't buy anymore. I have, instead, found a group of Happy Pet players who help me out when something comes up that I can't afford and I help them out when I can. These folks have helped me to find a love of the game that I thought did not exist, and so I am still playing. Without them, I'd have quit. The thing that bugs me the most is not the hacking. I try to ignore it. But, what really guts me is how so many people here are able to give out cash coins to those who can't buy them, and people still complain about it. The folks here know that not everyone has access to them or can afford them. I try to give when I can, but I am under the impression that that will never be enough. That makes me very sad. I remain of the opinion that most of the arguments here are not about EA's business tactics inasmuch as they are about people not liking the cash shop (Boutique). I know that they are trying to do what they can to deter the hackers, and while I try to ignore them, I do know that they are affecting the game in a very negative way. Am I going to buy a pegasus petling? I don't know, but I will probably not get up at 1 in the morning on Tuesday to have a look. Oh yeah, the thing about banning people. The 24 hour ban happened to me for selling too much stuff. I just decided to sell one or two things a day so I don't upset the game. It's not really a big dea to me. I did a lot of digging the other day and got one of each of all the items. I didn't get booted out or anything, so, I have to agree with Lea75 and Lucky Strike in their arguments about that.

I like the gray, not the blue. I had the gray mouse last night in my front room. When it morphed to blue, I returned it to my chest.

I am partial to brown eyes.

I wouldn't get rid of the cash shop animals. I have 8 right now. 3 bears 1 lamb 1 tiger 2 lions (I'd sell them first, I think) and Aberdeen the cat, whom I will never part with.

Oh yeah, the German team plays today or tomorrow, don't know which, so will probably watch that. I'm pulling for Germany, but they had a lot of setbacks with injuries and such, so don't know how they will faire when they play.

I think I have a no stick bundt around here somewhere...maybe I'll give it a go this weekend and try and bake a cake.. That looks yummy.

Nothing much planned here. My husband will be home for much of the weekend writing his resumes again. He got a lead on a job, so we're hoping that it will work out. Of course, if it does, then we will be moving quickly and I will be attending the Chris de Burgh show alone in Mainz. But, we'll figure that out, first it has to happen. He got another rejection letter this week, so we're just trudging along with that. He's feeling pretty optimistic still, contrary to all the setbacks we have dealt with. So that's what we're going to be doing.

Not my favorite stuff, but at least the clothes aren't pink. Still undecided about whether to try and get the petling, though.

Me too, the blue one looks like something out of a mad scientists lab....wait a minute, Tiddly Winks could use a couple of those. mwahahahaha.

A tip is to try and remember where the red x's are and then you know not to dig there. I have had pretty good luck heeding them. Finished the dinosaur fossil...but like Kasi said, very addictive. My luck with this is better than with the mystery boxes.

I noticed that the mouse plushie comes up blue on my game...yuck. Otherwise, the stuff looks interesting.

I'm really glad they haven't. I am such a die hard wig nut, that I am grateful that I can get these other colors done.

Can I have a piece of cheese for Tiddly Winks' lunch? I'm not really looking for anything at the moment, but you so totally rock for giving so many things away.

Today is housework day and getting caught up on my games, writing and sewing the last bits on my new dress. Pictures will be forthcoming when Sven gets back from flying and I can do something with this mop on my head (that is bad hair day).

I tried the other colors and the bold ones don't look nice at all. I will probably get one tomorrow and dye it light brown. Then I'll be finished. Those other colors don't appeal to me at all.

I must be out of my mind, I bought yet another wig and colored it pink. Tiddly Winks looks so fantastic in these curls wigs. I can't get over how pretty she looks in them. So I'm splurging.

How about opera...they have the viking helmets and ships, but the operas where sopranos wore those neat-o hats. I am footballed out, I can't handle anymore sports. I mean, they barely did squat for the Winter Olympics, but going nuts with football. I just can't get excited, simply because everyone here is going nuts about it.

My kitty is grown. Please could someone come to my page and free the trapped pet. It's so pathetic, I have a lot of active Happy Pet people on my friends list, but they will not help me with this. I only need two more people to help me.

Sorry that I've been out all day. I went with my husband to the airport and got to fly with him. It was a lot of fun. Then I spent part of the afternoon cutting a pattern (they have huge tables where I can spread stuff out on) and then wrote some pages on my story. I am just back and am scrambling to get my visits done now.

Oh how wonderful. This calls for a prezzie...to the shop to find a good one.

After gifting two wigs to friends, I decided to buy a second wig to color. How does this look? I have to say I am really surprised that these wigs didn't sell out quickly, but I guess in a way I'm glad they didn't because I love them, and I can color them.
