One month after cham completed his exchange custom, I started on mine today! <--- This fella no shame. Today I shall do a short tutorial on wing transplant. I started by selecting a rear wing from a Lotus Esprit, and to fit the rear wing I measured and drilled two holes. To fit the new rear wing attachment, some parts of the interior had to be trimmed. Compare this picture with the original above, its just some minor interior trimming. This is how it looks on the underside, a snug fit. And tada! The rear wing now sits properly and the Murcie has a new rear wing! The exchange custom is complete! Will be reaching you soon cham! :-D Spoiler: Just kidding lah, I will be following this up soon. To those who have not been to the McD gathering last friday, here are the photos of our second GT-R co-customs. I will be posting mine, and danielh will be posting his soon! For this custom, I experimented with putty and card modification. I them to raise the hood and give it some extra shape. It worked pretty well, but you can still see some uneven edges. Also, I tried hand painting some tempo using toothbrush and cotton buds to produce the silver on top of the gold base. Wheels are from a Maisto Machidi The two GT-Rs together:

Yesterday at McD gathering I have had the pleasure of meeting danielh in person for the first time after doing a co-custom for over two months. We brought both our GT-Rs and the rest of our customs to share amongst those present. A lot of ideas were exchanged, different school of thoughts merged and I felt the both of us have learnt a lot. Personally, I have learnt a lot from seeing his customs in person. As the topic suggests, we met up as the climax of our co-custom build: Nissan GT-Rs. A few days short of two months has passed since we announced our co-custom. About 200 posts and 2000+ views later, here are the cars! Unfortunately, I didn't get many shots of the GT-Rs. I'll let danielh post the rest! Spoiler: EVERYBODY RUN! POLIS DATANG!

omg 4th colour DD! Larry's Garage is overkill with their recolours. X_X but but but....they all LOOK SO NICE! and lovin the SEMA civic. what a piece of carded poison there.

Last update before the completed photos, the car is about 90% done. Interior; gave it a silver trim and added a new steering wheel and gps screen. Applied decals and glossed.
