Elgee, that 65 GT is also not accurate. Its does not have the rear extended arches. The 67 is the correct one. And this years Mustang casting is the correct one. Its not that u can't use either the 65 fastback or the GT stangs. The 65 fastback is more appropriate as BULLIT model. But whatever the case, its your call. I'm not nitpicking, i'm just sharing what i know.

Very sure its a ROTF movie one only Optimus and Megatron at RM189 in Carrefour MV yesterday. I would have bought it, but i'm not budgeting for those toys. I was hunting for HW in the whole of MV there yesterday. MJ is having a promo of the complete ROTF series. But cannot see Starscrem at all. I only saw the Starscream in Anime Tech in Pyramid also yesterday at scalped prices. But the other characters seems to be complete. Including that big excavator. But there is no combiners constructicons to be seen. I don't know that promo was only for Carrefour only or what, as i did not see the other prices in Metrojaya or Jusco. I thought that range of pricing was normal right? How come it cost RM220? Its confirmed in todays Petronas advertisment. Bumblebee - 26 June StarScream - 5 July Megartron - 12 July Optimus - 12 July Price is RM15.90 as posted by TS earlier. You have to buy RM30 of fuel or RM15 from Kedai Mesra. So means you buy 3 hotwheels can buy this at cheaper price!

The cheapest TF toys off the rack is RM19.90. The second best you can find if mostly RM40 more or less. Then there is the RM60-wayy to RM2xx. I highly doubt Petronas is going to push the RM40 ones, as the RM19.90 is not selling as well as the bigger ones. Whats more RM30 buck fuel... whats the returns for Petronas if they subsidise high priced toys?

I just came back from Mid Valley today. Almost the whole Mid Valley pushing TF toys. You can get all the models from ROTF movie. BUT you definitely cannot locate StarScream as it has been snatched up by most toy shops to be scalped. Kukubeh i saw Carrefour selling that Megatron and Optimus for RM189. You paid RM220 for it? Scalped pricing i think.

Its definitely a sensor. The copper connector at the top is a sensor attachment (Look at the reflection). The body has a hex design indicating its a screw in attachment of either water, engine oil or even exhaust sensor. The bottom the installer had used teflon tape to cover the hole. Blue color discharge indicates rust and most likely in contact with water. Unless this sensor is used for machines, then i dunno la. But i'm 100% sure its a sensor.

Eight, that picture u posted earlier is not the mustang that is issued in HW. That one is made in 1967 and a lot of variants. That car is available in this years HW muscle mania release. But none of them had gills type air vents. This is the correct one. A 1965 one. The FnF:TD is a 1967 one. But if u make it with the HW 1965 one, it would be very odd indeed. Its the wrong car for FnF. But do like the techniques used on the car.

No way!!! You have to look at the bigger picture. The Ferrari racer series did hit the lowest price of RM9.99 and is selling between RM12.90-RM14.90 when it is not on promo. This series is already highly priced because Mattel definitely have to pay royalties for the Ferrari emblem. And they still have plastic wheels. At RM10-12.90-14.90, hoarders still can pay for them. You know why? There are only so limited variants and the cars are already listed on the back. So they can make calculations of the car to buy and sell. And the cars don't consume a lot of money if you concentrate on them only. But if the same pricing to be had for the basic cars, 178 cas a year excluding variants at RM9.90-12.90-14.90, the hoarders would not buy so much and their scope would change to only very highly sought after cars and not variants anymore. Much less on completing the range. Even if they hoard they are not stupid. Also Mattel would price the Ferrari series with rubber wheels at RM29.90? Look at the 1:32 range that hits RM45. Ridiculous when you can buy a 5 pack 1:32 from burago at RM79, 2 pack Maisto 1:32 at 29.90 or those many of those 1:32 tuner series for the same amount of money with lights and opening doors and boots!! HW must stick to current car setup and manufacturing. But they can play with the packaging. Still they make a killing with the price increase based on the color printing. Really. It doesn't take a nuclear scientist to know how they market their products.

tomica is already overpriced. You know why? Because they are the only one making japanese cars. And no one else does it. RM12.90 for plastic and metal is hardly good value. At that price i could get a HW car and a decent meal everywhere. Which is why i do not buy their regular range but only their limited range. But you can compare with realtoy and maisto metal.

It would mean that T-hunts would be a step higher than the regular rubbered wheeled basic cars. Because they can mass manufacture, they can sell it at RM12.90-RM15.90 i assume. This is based just on rubber wheels alone. Rubber wheels will work on track sets. But they won't have the speed offered by plastic wheels. Quality would be more a more concern, as rubber can be damaged from bad storage. And they don't last as long as plastic either. Other than that, its ok. But if they do it at say 2008. I bet the cars in 2009 won't sell by the bucketloads. And they effectively slash 50% or more customers away. Hoarders cannot afford to buy them anymore if they do not have ready buyers. Not like now. They also kill off all their special ranges too. Who would want to pay RM24.90 for a special series when they can have a slighly different same car with same rubber wheels?

Actually i would say there isn't any system to pack cars in a box. Most of you would love to believe that a specific amount of cars are packed in a box don't ya? hahaha. There "might" have been a system few years ago. It has degraded since. I would love for them to rojak everything and then see who gets what. hahah. -
