  1. They should compare metal and plastics used. Weight of car determines how much metal and thick the metal is used. So some compromise is acceptable. Also non of the other manufacturers makes more than 100 models a year compared to HW. I would rate Realtoy a second. But most of it are variants of the same car that is in league of Matchbox. Because Realtoy has only so small models, it is easy for them to spot problems. With Hw its too hard. If you tell me bang for buck in any 1/64 car models, it has to be Maisto Pro Rodz (not the current custom) series. And also Tomica Limited series. Both almost hitting RM20 per car, u don't need to bang your head looking for so many models like Hot Wheels. Its funny to see such write up. Presumely its an adult written it. And the cars are targetted at kids. Small kids that would rip off the pack then crash and burn the car. If it was collectors, they would post such things like this. But then because they are adults and they know the value of money. But kids doesn't, they just want to get the car they want and rip the roads. It seems not fair to HW a little. But as an adult i would say to the guy, stop being critical and change brands if u think HW is crappy. But he can't because the cars Hw has is not available in other brands.
  2. Even in real life, burnouts may not necessarily make a lot of smoke. A lot of factors that can contribute to it.
  3. That someone is me. hahaha. Articles can be found in Matchbox and Hotwheels collecting guide books.
  4. I wonder whats the point of this thing? It would probably be misused.
  5. I hate their current wheel designs. I mean the "super blinged and cannot see the tires" one.
  6. It looks like a package for 2 steerings.....
  7. If you can hunt down the history between this companies, you will see how the quality has remained consistent with Matchbox. But HotWheels is only playing catch-up last few years. And MB cars last time can stand abuse more better. Well when i was a kid that is. hehe
  8. Mattel don't need to use more money to make T-hunts!! This is a fact! If you keep a good eye out, you would see the rubber wheels are available in other series and they just take the wheels from there. They don't loose money! They will never will. Its all MARKETING!! If there wasn't any T-hunts at all. I'm sure the collectors here won't exist. Many are being SOLD by T-hunts. From there they go on to buy the regular cars. In fact i have already stated time and time again from the many "hate" post, T-hunts does not create good collecting habits.
  9. This website is slow to load compared to theirs.
  10. The details of the scale GTO is quite good too. I did not think it was fake at all! If a big hand comes to get my GTO i can only think its my time liao. hehehe.

  15. Well it is a cow for crying out loud. hahaha
  16. Wasn't the "Got Milk?" supposed to come with a question mark? Maybe if you wirtten "Milk Me!" would be more apt. hahaha.
  17. rikmun, from your past detailings. I think you rely too heavily on the markers. I suggest you learn to use the brush. And also you need to learn how to draw. Seriously. There are only so much you can do with markers. You do not need to find specific detailing brushes. Just look for the finest one you could try. Its more of a confortable working solution and practice to hold brushes. The markers limit what you could do actually because you hold it like you hold a pen for writing. Look up in youtube for burh holding techniques., pin striping brushes, snuff bottle art, cartoon drawing tecniques and anything concerning art techniques. Because if you keep on practicing with pens, you won't improve to get to higher level.
