Re-edited the pictures to be a little clearer. The old ones were put hastily with handphone cam. 3 more cars were added from the last time the pictures was taken. They are not complete as i am still searching for more cars to complete the range. I'm not collecting the color variants, but the car models.

Waaahhhh!!! Really got people use la. Then i wasn't the first to think of this idea. hahaha. But he showed you the idea, if i plonked an unfinished rack here sure no one would have guessed it too right? So the actual packed item had my heart stopped for a while there. Remember wood glue and nails. PC or Arcylic panels are an option. hahaha. ADVedder, is he a member here too?

I found this thing and from few feet i thought it was a display rack for tiny stuff, like die cast cars! Then reality struck, it is actually a Shoe rack! Hahaha. BUT! don't discount the idea that this could be turned into a wall display rack. Just nail or wood clue the loose sections, get a wall hanger and we are all set. Kind of cheap at RM19.90 on promo price. But after you diy would cost more than RM30 thats for sure. But how much would it cost to buy plywood or balsawood, wood glue and nails? What more how many can saw in a straight line? I wish i have the time to DIY one of these babies. They seem to be the perfect candidate for wall display racks. Just need to find a good tranparent arcylic, plexiglass or polycarbonate sheet to shield them from dust that is. I might just pick one up to DIY and show you the steps here.

I found this at C4 today. Kinda funny. Damn the logo and color scheme and backing card color is the same! There are many interesting China made toy cars on some sections that i think many would not want to go to. They are not exactly cheap at RM 4.90 a pop. At now seems like they only focus on Formula cars. I think they would come up with different models later on, or maybe there are such models circulating around already! haha

I thought i was the only one with such cards. hahaha. Yes i do know of their orgins. But what is going to bake my noodles later is how am i going to hunt for these cards later on! Hopefully getting me to the big kahuna and land me a big one. Whether it is valuable or not depends on a persons view. To me TH cars are nothing really. Its like different flavoured TESCO sausages. But still it is sausages. But to collectors here, they are like gold. This card seems to be vaulable to me because they are not native Malaysian cards. They have engine details and year or production! Why not ours? Finding such Hw uncut cards is rare. I searched in the web, how many was for sale or even talked about? None. Its a new frontier and a scary deposition that i have to face myself. Well probably only one other guy here that has a collection of those. Maybe there are some people willing to pay or somewhat drive a new market for such stuff. Its speculative. All HW stuff are speculative, to people who sells them back again anyway. How many collect HW related merchandise? Bags, cases, stickers, stationery, blah blah. I now there is a very small collectors market for those. But no one shows stuff like those here. Till then i'm giving an option for people to see, there are weird HW stuff circulating around. I'm not for the money, i would even use it for a cup coaster or mouse pad if i wanted. But i only have a piece. heh.

I was hunting for this car since 4th quarter of last year when it was posted over at LYF. Also found an automotive book to match with my current Hw collection. The cars look familiar? hehehe. For those interested, there are 3 more left at Borders Times Square (near starbucks cafe section) and they go for a bargain price of RM17.90 only!!! Too good to pass up.
