kathy, i'm praying for both you and your mom. i know it's 7 days away for you but it seems like it's so far away. hang in there girl. i just know that things will start getting better once this surgery is complete. we make the worse patients! i wish there were fun traditions like that here in the US. i think for 2011, i'm going to make my hubby eat grapes with me. we'll have make sure we get seedless!!!

it's 6:42 AM for me here. i've been up since 5am. i got a call from work this morning and they canceled me. normally, i'd be jumping up and down for having another day off, but i haven't worked at all this week. today would have been my first day so i was a bit upset...actually i was mad. so i couldn't sleep... -

you must be the best daughter in the world!!!!!! i don't talk to my mom as much as i should. maybe 1-2 a week. but then again, it's hard for me because my mom speaks very little english and my korean is a bit on the stinky side. so most of our conversation is about "huh? what?, etc." the fact that you already do all these things, your parents already know how much you and dan appreciate their help. they know you wouldn't ask them for it so they give it to you freely so you don't have to ask. you are really lucky to have such a great relationship with them. and the fact that you feel bad, don't...even though i know it's hard not to. i'm pretty sure they know that you are honest and would never take advantage. -

@Hell-o Clarice: me too. after getting the big brown bag, i didn't want to spend anymore on the other items....although the smaller clutches are actually wearable. as for the perfume, i'm not sure what it does... i don't want to get it and get disappointed again. -
