Gaiamaiden 0 Posted April 13, 2010 Spring is in the air and flowers are in bloom!Outside my back door I have a few plant pots that are empty soI decided to plant some flower seeds in my tiny greenhouse to start them off.To make it fun i turned it into a competition Here is where it becomes a competition, you can pick 1 of the pots that you think willgrow first, and if you right you win a fabulous prize! And whichever flower you pick thatflower will be named after you So, which plant pot will you choose?Below is a diagram of the greenhouse just to make it easier.As the flower grow i will add pictures too.I will be keeping the prize a secret until the winner is announced!The Rules:-- You must have 20+ posts to enter- You must have no current warnings- One plant pot per member.1. sinenomine2. esperia3. clair a bell4. falcor5. kiki lolo6. Gaiamaiden 0 Posted April 13, 2010 DAY 1: Planted the seeds and given them waterDAY 2: Nothing yet lol Gave them a little water againDAY 3: Still nothing, but the greenhouse has lots of condesation so its lovely a warm, so they have great conditions to growDAY 4: Some of the flowers have started growing already!DAY 5: They are growing so fast!!DAY 6: OMG!! Growth spurt! lolDAY 7: I didnt have time to take pictures but i watered the plants and oh my gosh!! They are growing more and more!DAY 8: WOW!!DAY 9: Ive given some of the plants a little water and let them sit in the warm sun, im hoping to have some bigger pots soon xxDAY 10+11: Sorry i didnt post yesterday But tonight when i come home from work i will be adding new pics and on Sunday i will definatly be moving the big plants into bigger pots, some of your plants will be sharing, so they will have neighbours lolDay 12: Some of the plants have died! I tried to take them out of the pots and they just fell apart! Edit: Out off all those plants...... Only 6 SURVIVED being moved into the larger pots DAY 13: One of the flowers has had a major growth spurt lol but im not saying which one yet, but there are still no signs of flowers coming yetDAY 14+15: They are still growing, they are almost too tall for the green house !! DAY 16+17: OMG Will be taking pics tonight and have discussed the possibility of moving them to my mums house because they are getting too big. I have no garden and if i took them out of my greenhouse my cat might get at them. So the only opitiion would be to move them to my mumsDAY 18: The little plants have been moved up to my mums house where there is more room in her green house, she has loads of experience with plants so they should thrive Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

myladyyawo 0 Posted April 15, 2010 My daughter actually brought home magic beens growing in a bag from school today lol and I just thought it was so cute! They read the story of Jack in the bean stock today and so they got to plant 3 magic beans. She's really anxious to see them growing as am I! So we are both watching and waiting for plants to grow!
