Hello from Weston!!

Recommended Posts

Hi all!
I was told about the site by Greg, so i thought i had beter join!
i DID have 1998 Suzuki TL1000R, picked her up on the 3rd of may and by the 4th of may she looked like this...

sigh..less the 24 hours i had the bike, i was a bit unsure about her to begin with as she as a bit overwieght for my liking (just under 200kg)
but i was really happy with the was she shifted! not quite as nutty as my last bike, a KTM 950 Supermoto, but i think some fruity cans and a PCIII would of sorted that.
i expect she will be written off Sad
but my partner was to buy so they can do her up.
as for me i suffered streched tendons in my left pelvis and ankle and some brusing to the elbow, which fecking hurts!Shocked
long story short..the truck reversed into me...
dont know what bike i will get next, three on the short list
1> another TLR
2> Aprilia RSV1000
3> a Triumph Speed Triple 955
or i might say bugger it and get a Tuono!! thumbs
anyways..thanks for reading my tale of woe and when back on the road hope to see some of ya!

Lucky escape though eh?

I can beat your record of one day though. When I was lad I got an RG125, insured it, donned my new Frank Thomas gear, set off, and a mere 2 miles from home, I fell off on a corner and broke my leg! DOH!
