The joys of a good credit rating

Not for me Dave I have to say. It's about 860 miles end to end, so add in your trip to the start and then back home, got to be a ball park mileage of 1,300 if not more. At 400 miles a day that's potentially three stopovers. You'd definitely need at least four though. Take it from me, 400 miles a day on a bike takes some doing. Expect to have no fun at all doing it at that rate, particularly on Britain's choked road network. Sorry.

I've got the bike in decent order but I'm very drawn to the Z1000SX. Nowhere to keep another bike so I have to get rid of one. So, what would you suggest is the best medium to use to sell a high mileage, well used but rock solid bike? It's done 71,000, got a dent in the tank from a swinging gate, needs a chain but new tyres, recent service, will have a full mot. Suggestions please.

Among the varied issues when I rode my ZZR back was a sticking rear brake. Seal kit arrived today, I'd already split the caliper and cleaned the pistons, so reassemble, new pads, bleed. It's as good as new. Proper chuffed I am. Will fit new front pads too. So that's valve shims all up to scratch, new plugs, air filter and coolant. Just got what I think is a blocked pilot jet. Got some fuel treatment to try before I gut it again. Can live with it til winter anyway. So, I don't know whether to try and MoT it and hope he lets the chain go. I'd like to run it for a few hundred miles before deciding on a new chain but it does clunk a bit. It starts and idles a treat now though, i'm sure I've nailed the fuel issues.

I'm going Dave, try to get off at a decent time. Do you know the petrol station more or less opposite Sainsbury's? You could come in on the old Six Hills road and be there easily enough. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.773521,-0.8940632,18z not sure if that will work. The Esso with a Tesco Express attached. I'll try to be there at 9:30
