  1. Of course it makes all sorts to make a world. Did you see the guy trying to pull up a conifer with his Harley? All you can say is hats off to them for being man enough to post such embarrassing turnipry. If that's a word.
  2. OMG it gets better. I'n watching the Irish equivalent of The Apprentice. Some Irish gazillionaire points at you & says "You're foired" Priceless
  3. Good grief-in Kent and watching I'm a Celeb is the stuff of suicide. Lucky I've got an electric oven as they say.
  4. Sadly Dave I'm on me Jack Jones. I'm in Donegal but it's totally wazzing down or I'd have a walk up town. It does look a nice place actually so try again tomorrow.
  5. Well here I am in another hotel, had my dinner & I'm back in my room watching I'm A Celeb. It feels like the beginning of the end.........
  6. All the riders I am in contact with on other forums would choose the Zumo. I don't own one but people who do have them wouldn't change.
  7. If you want good roads buy the Michelin maps and look for roads with a green line next to them. Never fails.
  8. I think we're entering a new Victorian Age. Exploitation is the order of the day-immigrants brought in to force down wages & create a pool of surplus exploitable labour. Rights being eroded, and wealth most definitely being redistributed upwards. Be afraid people, be very afraid.
  9. No worse place in France than Paris IMHO. The north's a bit dull which is why I'd go across into the Ardennes/Eifel area. That said, some lovely cities not least Arras, Laon & Reims all less than 200 miles from Calais.
  10. Well, if you're a Eurotour virgin I'd advise keeping it simple. Ferry/tunnel from Dover, and don't get tempted to do big miles every day. A good short break which I've planned but not had the time & more importantly money for is a long weekend in the Ardennes. Not too far, nice roads/scenery, history if you're interested in WWII and a sprinkling of nice towns en route. And if you plan it right you can do 3-4 countries in one hit.
  11. How great do they sound? I just wish the yoyo with the camera would shut the **** up & let us enjoy that aural orgasm!
  12. Janie, I'd recommend you go to Alsace. Plenty of good roads in the Vosges, lots of villages to stop & do pics & lunch (my fave two are probably Kaysersberg & Riquewihr)and be sure to visit Colmar. Ah just read your post properly do it as a seperate trip maybe. France rules for bikes
  13. Going into dealing then Gaz? You're right though, I don't think there's many bikes around that can tick so many boxes.
  14. Not sure if it was Wrynose or Hardknott where my mate dropped his week old FJR1300 on an adverse camber.
  15. I downloaded a freebie to nail a Trojan once but can't remember where from. All I can remember is the shortcut icon was like an old fashioned dynamite detonator. It did the trick though. And, don't laugh, try Microsoft. You can download their Malicious Software Removal tool and again, I've solved a problem this way in the past. It's also worth running something like CCleaner (not a typo) or Wise Disk Cleaner and Registry Cleaner first to clear a bit of crap out of the way. If you've done all this sorry to waffle. PS I reckon it's this one http://www.simplysup.com/tremover/download.html
  16. Plenty of free AV though Gaz. Have you downloaded & run Malwarebytes? Best thing going in my experience.
  17. Mate of mine had a 750 Sei with six wee reverse cone megas. He left it with me for two weeks when he went on holiday with the girlfriend.
