  1. I'm looking into next years hols. Checking out ferries to Santander, and Ryanair have just released timetables including a new daily route East Mids to Barcelona. That's a result for me.
  2. Nah nothing serious Dick, I just had some sort of fever last night like a 24hr flu or something. Left me a bit wobbly so don't fancy battling to the bar somewhere just to see New Year in, miserable git that I am.
  3. ..didn't expect anyone to be on tonight. I haven't been too well today & didn't fancy being out with all the others. I see there's a few other familiar names on at the moment too. Are quite a few people having a quiet one this year?
  4. As a point of interest the Kingdom of Great Britain has not existed for a bit over 200 years. England as an independent kingdom ceased to be just over 300 years ago. And St George was an Armenian who is also revered and celebrated on April 23rd in Catalunya. Just FYI.
  5. Best one was when he went down Grimselpass. He had to modify it when Muse objected to him using Map of the Problematique as backing track. Not quite the same after that but still good viewing.
  6. Here yo go dude. Great platform for a project Gold renthals, 20mm jackup, hagon progressives, genuine 11k miles.
  7. I know where there's a nice low mileage 98 B12 mate
  8. I meant to put this up before now but forgot in all the excitement of working 7 days a week. Really for us Midlanders I guess and very weather dependent. My ZZR is still fully road legal so if it's a half decent day I'm in. Any other interested parties just respond to the thread & we'll see how it goes. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/RidingEvents/ridingeventsresults/Events/2011/November/nov111-brass-monkey-run-rainbow-childrens-hospice-2-jan-2012/
  9. Been around a while but I'm surfing youtube and came across it again
  10. Good call mate.I'm 8 years older than you so prob in some ways got more from it. That was a different life, coming home on the bikes with your head literally fizzing from the noise of a live band then the stiff neck when you got up for work next morning
  11. Yeah you & me could have a musical evening no sweat pal did you see many of the club bands in the 70s? We had a place near us called the Golden Diamond (still going, saw Budgie there as I said) do you remember the likes of Strife, Hustler, Lone Star etc? Oops forgot one of my other faves, Magnum.
  12. Another fave of mine. The track is Persephone-guess the band & enjoy
  13. Truly a Brit competitor to Rush I thought. Good guitarist, ugly big nosed spindle with a crap voice on bass I'm listening to them now on Youtube on a separate page. Nostalgia ain't what is used to be Dick
  14. Saw them about a year ago m8-Burke Shelley hardly looked any different!
  15. Had a drink with Burke Shelley & Tony Bourge before their set at Nottingham Albert Hall, about 1975. Shelley signed my ticket. The good old days before rock stars had PR staff & all that crap.
  16. Where's a laughing up your sleeve smilie when you need one
  17. This will sort out the real rockers Who made the tracks Hot As A Docker's Armpit and I Ain't No Mountain?

    hi

First up welcome to the forum. European trip-easy peasy if you have a credit card and internet connection I've done quite a few and I'd advise do it yourself. Much more rewarding and will work out a bit cheaper of course. I'd be happy to advise on any questions you might have.. Just fire off a PM
