  1. I'll do my best to attend mate. Be sure to post a reminder nearer the time.
  2. Perhaps it's an age thing, but when I saw a topic entitled Great Snatch I was expecting something a little more exciting
  3. Dead right mate. In fact we've just been sent a nice large embroidery order worth about £1200 so that's a start
  4. I've had a few health issues in recent weeks, and went for an ecg scan last week. Turns out I'm fine, all normal However, I've got flights booked to Spain for Easter and guess what? My passport is nowhere to be found so I'm £175 out on fares & parking, plus probably another passport at £77.50.

    Ayup

An Ilson lad eh? welcome to the forum mate, I dare say we'll catch up sometime as I'm just down the road in mucky ucknall.
  6. Better than an Easter egg mate! Saw lots of Busas out on Sunday on my way to Oxford. A lot of GSX1400s as well. Maybe the owners club were out and about anyway all the best with the new bike dude.
  7. Had two calls today, one in Stourbridge, one in Leicester. Didn't have anything to eat so I was pretty snatched when I got in.
  8. If I'm not too busy I'd be interested in meeting up dude. How long are you in UK for? Can't I persuade you to take a ride up the Fosse Way and visit Matlock Bath? It is the Mecca of motorbiking in the Midlands, and plenty of nice roads around it.
  9. Local Tesco is dry and I've got to ride to Oxfordshire tomorrow. Looks like I've got to pay motorway prices
  10. Of course, but the tax is now paid and handily all in the 11-12 tax year. It'll help pay the teachers & nurses.
  11. fuel tax rich Yes and interestingly enough this whole thing has kicked off in the last week of the financial/tax year. A nice top up for this quarter's VAT & Revenue coffers
  12. Neons. Jeez, what next, a bass box strapped on the back seat? Tell your mate to get a Saxo and be done with it.
  13. I think that's a really handsome bike mate. Lost a bit of it's edge I think in recent years but I doubt there's a better all round single rider's bike that won't cost a complete packet to run. Good choice.
  14. It was actually hazardous coming out of Nottingham tonight with cars queued into the main road. I had to filter through to the front at Tesco last night as well when I filled the bike. Still, at least I've got 50 litres stored in the spare room now. Good thinking Mr Cameron
  15. Same here mate. Just endured the petrol queue at Tesco before rattling off a quick 40 miles. And when I'm in the office I'll probably use it whenever possible as from April I won't have an official parking space for my company car. Nottingham City Council has introduced workplace parking charges, and anyone at our place who wants a guaranteed spot now has to pay £388 per year. I can put the bike in the workshop easily enough
  16. Why have a dog and not let it bark from time to time?
  17. Well, I don't suffer in that way I'm pleased to say, although mainly because I can't afford to keep chopping & changing . I've owned my Bandit almost 11 years, my ZZR just over 8 years, and the new kid, my VFR, I got last summer. I expect to keep it for some time to come. Buy a quality bike and be happy
  18. Hey you're not too big for a clout y'know! Well actually you are- OK OK I will.
  19. I was one of them just ran my Bandit back up to my work unit & couldn't be fagged to kit up. In mitigation, I did do less than 5 miles like it. Try to find it within yourselves to forgive me.
  20. Good on yer mate, so spill-how many decatons?
  21. Not sure if you'll see this without being a member. It's the ZZR riders forum at Aber & Elan Valley today. Great minds think alike, although fools never differ. http://www.zzr-rg.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5943
  22. Yes apart from the odd stretch where there was grass growing in the middle of the road
