  1. Jeez, they've starting doing MoTs on people? I'm screwed! Good luck mate
  2. Fair do's mate. An underrated bike the CB thou. It's not that far short of a Blackbird at a fraction of the cost. Hope your Fazer works out-another sound choice IMHO.
  3. Tasty bike dude. I did post recently that if I could afford a "me only" bike I'd have a Speed Triple or Tuono, but I forgot how sexy these Z1000s are.
  4. Give over! What are you, like 102 or something? That's a good distance commuter for someone mate and no mistake. good luck with the sale
  5. Love the way they all just lower the canopies back into place as the train departs. True symbiosis, man
  6. Ferry's reserved for September 21st. Hope I can make a decent few days out of all this as a fond farewell for the bike. Anyway, something to look forward to eh?
  7. Booked meself a flight for Friday September 16th to Valencia, so if the weather's nice I'll be in place for a blat across the mountain to the Aragon GP on the Sunday. Just need to book the ferry for the following week and it's the beginning of the end for the old Bandit.
  8. Yes even Sideshow Bob stayed on!
  9. Yeah wee Georgie isn't everyone's favourite but that was some planning on lap times to reel in the Hondas. Could just be an interesting season after the summer break for once, especially if Stoner gets a DNF somewhere.
  10. Great pics mate. Wish I had a decent camera and the patience to learn how to use it. One other thing-am I the only one who thinks Ducati got Rossi's livery from a box of old fishing float paints?
  11. If these dogs are still available mate my sis in law would be interested.
  12. Deal done! Wife is prepared to (literally) risk her ass with the seat so I've rung the guy and he's accepted my word on the phone as a deposit. How old fashioned is that? Money's on it's way so should be able to collect next weekend at the latest. Now I need to track down my mate's brother who's a bit handy with exhausts-those Honda cans are way quiet!!
  13. Been to view that bike, and it wasn't a disappointment. He's prepared to knock £100 off the asking price but is chucking in an optimiser and a few other oddments. TBH it's the right price. 15k miles, FSH, that Givi luggage really hasn't been used, only marks on it are scuffed heel plates & slight scuff on the seat. Steers nicely, just want to square it with SWMBO as she didn't come with me to test the seat, but I want it. And he's got 2 sets of Alpinestars T Dyno leathers which I reckon will fit us could be all set to rock'n'roll to Spain-just add fuel
  14. How can anyone possibly want a cruiser? I actually can honestly say I'd rather have a caravan.
  15. For those of you that use Firefox as your browser, there's a handy little add on called Flagfox. It displays the server location of any web page you're visiting in the web address line. Might be a useful feature if you find you're about to do your online banking on a Russian hosted site for example. And did you know this forum is hosted in the States?
  16. Nae bother Richard. BTW another very good spares outlet is Cradley Kawasaki (google it for details) so I'm sure you won't have a problem. Look forward to meeting you on a rideout to claim my pint!
  17. I've been asking around and I can pay at the gate anyway. Maybe buy a ticket when I'm in Spain in a couple of weeks, if not I'll take pot luck & ride across on the Sunday.
  18. According to Kawasaki Cornwall's microfiche, same part for 92/D3, 93/E1. Official part no 16115 price £6.80. So unsurprisingly they are all the same http://www.cornwallkawasaki.co.uk/shop/shop.php?cmd=showdiagram&id=3083
  19. I know someone with a pretty old ZZR600 stuck away in the back of his garage. I'll see if he can give any input. and I'm a Kwak owner, & proud of it! Just posted a query on ZZR RG for you-there's some good knowledge on there.
  20. I can reserve a ticket & collect from my local supermarket!-Carrefour just 5 miles from the flat. General admission 59 Euro or reserved seating 85 to 100 Euro. Decisons, decisions....... Or from my local bank. This sounds too easy. What's the catch?
  21. Its not proper work is knitting ,lol
  22. Holy crap! So that's cheap? Last GP I went to was Assen in 2003, think I paid 20 Euros. Wife's told me to treat myself, but I'm just too tight for that.
  23. I've been watching flights in September with a view to riding the Bandit back, and was all set for the 18th. Now there's a flight on Friday 16th which would mean I could zoom over to the Aragon MotoGP on Sunday. But tickets are £63 general admission which came as a shock to me. Is that like the going rate for a race ticket nowadays? PS that's a weekend pass but I only want race day anyway.
