  1. Go out in the rain & get them piss wet through. Ride like that for an hour then dry them as slowly as possible. They'll fit like a glove-shame you don't have five legs!
  2. Dunno Rose but I suspect whichever is the case, the root cause would be the same!
  3. If you can afford the luxury of an Ipad then I'm pleased for you.
  4. Apple the worst company on earth. Have you never dealt with Sky? Try Ebuyer for your new pooter. They do loads of good stuff and are very keen on price. Sometimes do ex demo etc for a few quid less too. http://www.ebuyer.com/
  5. Not for me. I'd be worried she'd suddenly start shrieking in mock ecstasy the way she does on the telly. It's not normal to get as excited as she does over some lame brained loser. and she's got a big nose.
  6. Tuono. Absolute no brainer.
  7. welcome m8. That's not a bad part of the world to be in if you own a motorbike.

    Hi all

welcome mate. I was in Egham on Tuesday as a matter of fact. And always nice to have another zzrista on board.
  9. Of course we don't know who the driver is or what the background to it might be. I'd guess it has to be an emergency services driver or someone with a lot of money. Or Richard Hannay. And we don't know over what period of time those 39 points were amassed.
  10. Would it be cheeky to ask what he paid Stue? Looking for guide pricing for when I bring mine back.
  11. Not entirely sure Dave's bob involves hair. But I may be wrong.......
  12. Photobucket rules. It's easy and it's free. What's not to like?
  13. Just posting this up for a lad on another forum. Just in case anyone hears of a similar one for sale (or the bits)
  14. Yeah I read this the other day. Hope for me then eh?? What gets me is they always quote someone from BRAKE to make sure there's a bit of indignant harrumphing. They're just anti motoring safety Nazis. If someone has the wit, (or money) to evade a ban fair play to them. The rest of Britain's stinking and corrupt, why should motoring be any different?
  15. I wouldn't say 5 owners in 13 years is unusual TBH. And as Stue says, looks like they were all fair weather fairies. Prob been a second or third bike to someone and obviously underused. And if nothing else, at least you'll be "Taking a trip up to Abergavenny......."
  16. What a player. This is a bike I still hanker after so need to know what I can do to ruin the looks (one for you Stue) Cheers me man
  17. To an extent that's something you'll learn having used the tyres you have fitted. Interestingly the Maxxis still have about 10mm of chicken strip yet I'm leaning the bike at least as far as I have previously, maybe more. I always got the edge on my Continentals perhaps someone can explain the physics of that one. On most bikes TBH you'll likely ground the pegs or exhaust before you run out of rubber.
  18. Don't always believe what you read. I've read that 9/11 wasn't set up by the CIA As to the feedback from these Maxxis, again, perhaps the best set of tyres I've had on in that respect. Very steady but responsive to the slightest shove on the bar.
  19. BTW Aspy I'd be interested to know what luggage system your mate with the green 1400 has. Kawasaki will only supply panniers OR topcase. They claim it's unsafe to have three boxes on. Load of bollox but there you are. Be a pal & find out please.
  20. I'm coming up to 2,000 miles on the sport touring tyres, and am really pleased with them. If the rear can last 5k+ I reckon I'll stick with Maxxis personally. Less than that & it's no cheaper than buying Bridgestone or Continental.
  21. I suppose it depends on whether you want your bike to be more than a mere toy.
  22. Yeah should be OK tonight. I'm working "in house" so no probs over finish time. Look for a black ZZR1200 with iridium screen with a smiley stuck on it.
  23. Nice one mate. Scotland takes a bit of beating as long as the weather holds. and speaking of scenery, nice ZZR14 in the ONLY colour
  24. I quite fancied this 2nite but I've had six hours in the saddle already today. Might try & get up MFN 2moz.
  25. Soft panniers are an abomination in the eyes of the Lord. They leak & flop all over the place when you're riding. Might as well tie two duffel bags together & lob them over the seat.
