  1. is this pub talk or have you owned a Bussa? you seem to be very dismissive of the bike not pub talk like i said, gotta be mad to get the busa over a zzr for distance... The seat is small, the pegs are high unless your 4ft, boxes look stupid on them thats if you can even get them. Just from experience there... but each to there own, some like them some don't, its my opinion take it or leave it
  2. jezza, seriously.. go for the ZZR not the busa... you gotta be mad to go for a busa over a zzr for distance riding
  3. TBF the zed's are alright for pillion, got a custom seat cover on mine so a little more padded, but the pegs are nearly as low as the riders!! busa's are ok if your 4ft nothing or dont mine your knees wedged by your elbows
  4. his new leathers aswell
  5. Aye, thats my mates bike lol. His got a new site coming soon aswell
  6. feel free to throw it this way :P
  7. had a chance to get a full titanium system for the zed, £200 with a power commander, already got a PCIII and dont need any more exhausts lol
  8. Both cracking bikes, Honda as always have reliable engines, but I've heard of frames snapping at the head stock in the event of a bump. ZZR 1400 is more powerful, more of B King territory when it comes to power/speed/torque. I would personally go for the ZZR but both are cracking bikes. You will find a lot of the blackbird's will have corroded engine cases etc.
  9. bit the bullet today, after looking into it, the mudguard is too bad to repair permanently, so went on a bit of a shopping spree on some new plastics!! fancied carbon but at £400+ for 3 pieces it was a bit too much :P Repaired the current ones and there back on the bike till the new ones turn up in 7-10 days!
  10. Afraid not.. mind you watch his youtube vid's he does sound a little on the special side lol
  11. it is rofl! that reminds me, http://blog.motorcycle.com/2010/05/27/motorcycle-news/zx-10r-owner-modifies-his-bike-making-his-own-exhaust-and-cutting-holes-in-the-frame/ <--- bit more on there from back in 2010 lol
  12. oh my god.. has anyone else ever heard of this guy? His name is ShervinRRR, last known to ride a ZX10R, with um.. interesting mods... The comedy factor of it all is just priceless.. This is his sprocket mod to shave a few lb's and we cant forget his frame mod.. theres some videos on youtube of his "Handy work" which is frankly shocking.. got to see his homemade exhausts rofl the lists of stupidity goes on.. like this 'This is the throttle grip. Rub some grease inside your throttle grip to get a smoother, faster, easier rotation when you apply the gas'

    Hello!!

welcome ! Be prepaired for 99% of the forum saying "buy a bandit" poor souls
  14. local bike shop i use is brill with prices, only problem is last week i went in and he only had 8 bikes... lol
  15. price of bikes is going up and up, but a lot of dealers are really greedy these days!! i was offered £4,000 for the KTM, even though i paid a lot less, and i know they will sell it for atleast £4,500!!
  16. I would but want to insure it more And cheers guys hehe, well i'll keep one aside so when we go for this ride out this year i can stuff it in a bag and bring it down ( never know, might even give ya it )
  17. Few more pics Cans tidied up, there in my room at the moment getting a good polish. Should be able to see the blue/gold outlets hehe oh and new rivet gun fibre glassed the cracked panel up and its as good and strong as new.. might blend it in, but it will be hidden by the heat proofing anyway. Oh also slapped on a lick of paint on the screen and front mudguard so, once that dries i'll attempt to blend it in lol!
  18. chad want a little can on it? :P
  19. I tend to break things when i tinker ask gravelrash Umm yeah.. just broke the rivet gun my dads had for like 30 years.. he not best pleased rofl!! On the bright side, cans are looking 10000% better, minus no rivets in the end can. One end of the FMF's are Allen bolts, whilst the other are rivets which makes it a tad easier. Got them repacked with akrapovic packing, wire wool and wire mesh ( the correct way to do these ) so hopefully they should sound a little nicer. Mudguard is fibre glassed up nicely ready for a lick of paint, and the rear panel is now repaired and also ready for a lick of paint! will grab some pictures tomoz of the progress, some decent pictures not the crap from earlier on my phone rofl
  20. I bought an 02 1000 in 04 to re sell.I did about 100 miles on it.Nice riding position, great brakes and deceptivly quick The 600's are just as quick, same brakes so are even better on the 600 lol. With a full system and some decent discs ( find the standard ones warp after a while.. ) they go and stop bloody good! This is the one we had cracking bikes and you will deffo enjoy it more ( well.. not as flickable but can go further on a tank for sure lol )
