Glad she is ok , bikes can be fixed , but its harder for us -

top 2 are oil cooler , bottom is for a bracket for the cooler pipes -

very nice work m8 when i had mine i done a full rebuild on it , got it for £50 engine was in parts , and in a box at the time it also came out of 2 & 3 gear , any way it cost me £ 650 . at the time . yam parts are not cheap . so i hope you dont need to pull the engine apart , mind i did take it out to 850cc new cam chain and all rails oil pump small ends big ends etc ,, gearbox -
im on the RF forum and ever year we have a meet in Scarborough , in June , 20 of us this year for the weekend im sure the riots were on the TV , no we are not that bad , but still good fun -
im sure with some Rum in the glass it will be well nice , Dave -

madsod, does this tank look like it will bolt straight on? seems to be so many different sorts for different years etc.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150653359624?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_997 As said mine was a 750 , but i put the XS 850 ON Mine fits the same as the 750 tank as the front part of the frame is the same on both bikes , so cant see why it will not work the other way round , yes that one will fit but the 850 fuel cap will not fit that tank as the caps are not the same -

if the tank is to big put the xs 750 one on it will fit as i had both on my xs750 , when i had it . just 3.3 gallons i think as the 850 is 4.5 gallon from what i can recall . -
It seems so difficult to find a real nice one though! I like the black with red stripes one - thats a nice design and not too scouse shell-suity like the purple, yellow and silver one lol! Yours looks absolutely mint mate, fancy errm, lending it to me for an indefintie period? no sorry
