  1. Really looking forward to this Hope you can make it Ian and we should be back before dark so you dont need lights Stan Im sure my phone gets a signal ok so Ill phone/text when we get there Have a great rideout Dave and Robs party and dont forget your cameras
  2. I don't mind admitting Ive been there too Dave. A confidence knock just takes a little time to get over, which I'm sure you will . There is nothing wrong with thinking "what if" there's Gravel, Horse sh*t, Tractor, Broken down vehicle etc. round the corner its your self preservation kicking in. Its when your enjoyment of riding is been spoilt by to many negative thoughts that can become a problem. Look on the positive side Dave a less experienced rider might not of controlled the bike as you did and had an off so a big WELL DONE Lots of great advice on this forum Dave its like a big extended family isn't it?
  3. welcome to the forum hope you enjoy!
  4. That looks one comfy dog Stue He looks like he's got you exactly where he wants you Tony! I'm the same 44 and last year got our first dog. I wasn't to sure at first but she's one of the family now.
  5. Great pictures Jezza, would love to have the experience, I see them over York area when I'm driving through so must be a take-off field somewhere close. I've had a couple of flying lessons in a Cherokee Archer11 light aircraft and can thoroughly recommend that. Its our anniversary coming up soon so a balloon flight would make an ideal prezzie I think

    hi all

Hi Tabzy, welcome to the forum. Lovely looking bike, you'll have to get some pictures uploaded. Be nice to see you on a rideout ... when the weather improves Mike.
  7. Just to echo everything said above Mark. You know where I am if you need ANYTHING, Don't hesitate to ask. All my thoughts are with you both, deepest condolences mate!
  8. Mike phoned Alan (skelly) even though he,s bikeless at the moment he does plan on getting another in the future and would like to hang on to the top box. Hope you get sorted (wouldn't care but he lives at Acklam Middlesbrough, so delivery wouldn't of been a problem, not that it matters now! )
  9. Hi Mike, Skelly has just sold his 1200 Bandit and I Know he took off his e52 monokey topbox its the same as mine and easily holds 2 crash helmets in. I'm not sure if he's selling them or not and I think he's at work at the moment but I'll phone him later and see what he's doing with it.
  10. never seen that before, very good!
  11. Really hope your having a great day Dick, Happy Birthday.

  14. looks stunning Mark how you could even contemplate thinking of getting a 2nd generation bandit is beyond me, with all the work you've done to yours I don't think I could ever sell it..................... mind you, Dave did!

  16. Very nice There's something about Blue ! Oh that's It "FASTEST COLOUR" even on a Kawasaki Couldn't agree more Grumpyowl my old ZX6 (I do miss it ) Got a thing for blue but like your 12 Mike, bit different to the Bandit eh?
  17. Firstly thank you for all your advice I don't know anywhere where I could get such a response like this so a big THANK YOU . My wife phoned her previous insurers today and asked to speak to someone with authority, calmly stating the problem and our reluctance to pay any fee. After reviewing the file notes she agreed on a recorded phone that they had omitted to send out the renewal notice and they had received a copy of her new insurance sent by us by recorded delivery (to prove she hadn't just cancelled), they stated as the mistake was theirs the fee would be wiped and we would have no further issues. RESULT! and everyone!
  18. Thats a great buy Dick have you got a hook up lead on your bike or do you just take the seat off to connect it?
  19. thanks Dick I hadn't even thought about that but the renewal company she went with haven't asked for proof YET!
