  6. Err ok perhaps I am stating the obvious but you know you will have to rotate the crank with a spanner to get each cam in the right place to check the valves. I am very sorry if you know this. E.goldstein “they watching you”!
  7. Hi, I would check to see what you have now on each Valve before you start and weight it down! The engine MUST be cold before you start!!!! ok one will be Metric and the other will be Imperial. So I think you’ll find that your 0.15 millimetre = 0.005 905 511 811 inch however if you have it the other way round then 0.38 inch = 9.652 millimetre and 9 mm is massive! http://www.onlineconversion.com/length_common.htm E.goldstein “they watching you”!
  8. Ok do I carry on doing what is a labour of love and what is turning into a logger project than I expected E.G the downstairs shower room OR go out on the on Sunday? E.goldstein “they watching you”!
  9. If you're doing Millau area let me know-I've passed that way a time or two so may be able to offer some tips on routes/accommodation. Valencia MotoGP is 90 miles from my flat, so you've got a base sorted already I would be more inclined to go to Aragon in mid September as the ride to the circuit is far more interesting and the weather will be better. And that's only 80 miles from the flat hoping to do that one myself this year. Fingers crossed. Last year we "as in me my partner and four others" did Leicester to Toril near to Vélez-Málaga in four days, we went through Aragon some of the best biking roads I have ever done. My partner and did Maillau on the way back, I want to do a good explore looked like there should be some good biking roads. Any roads you know I may take you up on the offer of a bed "Having said that I know what time the Spaniards go to bed " if we come down to the Valencia Moto GP I'll keep you in mind. 10. Not to sure yet, looking at going to Cornwall/ Devon in early June, for a long weekend B&B with a few mates. Looking at going to France down to Maillau some time in July/ August for two or three weeks just me and my partner depending on work. I would think they be plenty of days out if the weather is any good this year. May do a trip up to that Café http://www.manor-cafe.co.uk/ Keep saying I want to ride down to the Valencia Moto GP in November but I’m not sure if November would be a bit on the cold side to ride all the way down through Northern France, it would be ok near to Perpignan and once over the Pyrenees, don’t may be one day ! 11. Looks nice, glad you got some miles in, the weather was much better than they said it would be. I whish I had gone out instead of spending all day working on the new showroom. E.goldstein “They are watching you”

  15. Dam it I should have got a pitch I have loads of "spars" to get rid of.
  16. Looks like a good place to meet up and go for a ride out. All East Midlander’s how’s about a trip up to meet up with the Northern brethren, well once it’s stopped snowing up there that is! I don’t mind doing a route up there and back, anyone up for a trip up say end of April? E.goldstein “they watching you”!
  17. You two are starting to sound like Football fans now crying because someone won or lost, nop not me I just appreciate the skill of the rider and the team behind them. Just love watching the guys making it all look so easy, you all most believe you could do the same thing, well that is until you see some one come up from WSB and make a right hash of it “Ben Spies” is the exception. A few years back I went to the Le Mans 24 hour that did make me cry many with laughter and in pain for the poor French bikes being revved to within a micron of the valve kissing the top of piston all night! I had heard that Speedway was coming back to Leicester but did not know it was that soon, looking at the web site “http://www.leicester-speedway.com/home/” Saturday 2nd April at Beaumont Park. Anyone want to meet up? Ok this bit is a bit like saying I have never see Star Wars! I have never been to a speedway meet I’ll understand if I am instantly excluded from the site and I will ware sackcloth and ashes and hang my head in shame. So to break my duck as it were 2nd April anyone? E.goldstein “They are watching you”
  18. I think the loving chat had more to do with the BSA starting than you kicking the kick start Sounds good did you go for a potter? E.goldstein “They are watching you”
  19. I am after a Bandit 600 but I want the S for doing Motorcycle instructing on plus I want one as near to standard as I can get, this is a good looking bike for not a lot of money. So if you anyone selling Bandit 600S PM me ! E.goldstein “they watching you”!
  20. Glad your ok and up and about ok. At Redcar Suzuki Leicester I know they have a bike frame Jig, if you can find some with the same sort of set up for starting out frames they should be able to help. To be hoisted if the bike has take quite a knock I would put the bike on a Jig anyway just in case, with it being a tube steel frame you can get them strained, Ally frames are another ball game. 21. Well this Thursday the 10th that means that there is just over a week to go until the New Moto GP season gets underway in Qatar on the 20th, will the Ducati with Valention Rossi and Nicky Hayden come good in first practise or will the Honda dominate much like they have in testing or will it be down to the Yamaha’s of Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies to prove it was not just a fluke least year. How will Cal Crutchlow get on the with the big boys of motorcycle racing, time will tell. Hot news just in today Rizla Suzuki have just revealed the new livery for the 20011 GSV-R and it’s looking very nice with a nice Suzuki blue and a sort of black feathered lined effect on the edges if the fairing and tank where the rider sits. Check it out at http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2011/Rizla+Suzuki+present+2011+livery. We should be cheering on all three Brits in the Moto 2 class Bradley Smith, Scott Redding and Kev Coglan who will all flying the flag this year. Let’s hope Bradley Smith make good progress moving up to the Moto 2 class, with such a big field in this class as last year showed, we’ll be in for some close racing over the 2011 season. We should not forget the four Brits Yes four Brits in 125 this year Taylor Mackenzie, Harry Stafford, Danny Kent and last but not least Danny Webb, yet again a good size field of riders and talents for the Brits to show what they are made of over the next 18 races. So set your alarm clock and VCR’s and PRV’s ready for the fun to start, I’ll be recording the lot from Friday practise to the Race on Sunday. Sorry to waffle on if you’re not in to Moto GP, but the start of the season means that this long and cold winter is nearly over at last. E.goldstein “they watching you”!
  22. Your so right a guy I worked with chopped the end of his off with the chain, the bike was on the centre stand on his drive “which was sopped” he grabbed the chain as the bike moved and spent the rest of the day in A&E! We only kept giving him the thumbs up for a year or two any more time would have been insensitive. My old ZRX12s had a chain I just put a Scottoiler kit on it, bit of messing about at first but soon go it working just fine, need adjusting in the winter and again in the summer but I never had any issues with it.
