  1. One of the guys on ASF decided what an old Oil-cooled Bandit 12 really needs is fuel injection, an intercooled Turbo, and a home made frame...
  2. Several of the lads out here run Naked Hayabusa's. Factory naked bikes dont come close.
  3. Mate recently bought a 99 Hayabusa. Fairly tidy and original. Its the unrestricted Copper/Bronze model, quite collectable. He soon chopped it up and is now looking at various Superchargers...
  4. I mix with folk who dont see anything odd about cutting up GSXR600/750 frames to fit a intercooled Turbo Hayabusa engine in.....
  5. Yeah, he still has the 1st one he build, the 400/650. This one should be in Streetfighters mag soon.
  6. I like the ZRX, nice bikes. I know a guy who wakes them up a bit. ZZR12 6 speed box, ZZR cams, few other tricks. Standard ones are OK, but they can be turned into Monsters. I dont think you can do a straight engine swap (shame) ZZR might have a down draft head. There's a "1224" Muzzy ZRX running around Brisbane, Something like 165hp at the tyre. NICE.
  7. FZR400 jap "grey" import with an 1100 Honda Blackbird motor.
  8. Iphone. The best phone I've ever had!! (because it was free and I dont pay the bill!)
  9. We have the new 300 Kwak. Didnt know you'd get them in the Uk. The 250 was a top seller out her for many years and the 300 looks to do well.
  10. Yes, LOTS easier ! But thats a lot more "Mr Sensible" Nowhere near as interesting. No one ever built a Hot Rod because its easier than buying a Subaru.

  12. Not looking where he's going, Not covering the front brake, Riding near the right hand gutter (in the US) when he's approaching a right hand bend.
  13. A few folk have blamed the photographer for "causing" this. Personal I think the rider is a dumb arse and its his own fault.
  14. Cruiser, Open face, to the camera, Whooops! http://xtremesportsphotography.photoreflect.com/store/ThumbPage.aspx?r=1&e=8716105&g=0QAK01AY08
  15. I recon Shakey took a shot at the Ginger Kid with his boot, hit him a treat, then sent the chubby guy in the white top to get his boot back.

  17. Personal taste. Although nearly all my bike are/have been black, I really do like the 9's original blue paint. The only bike i've had respayed recently went a similar blue. Having said that, I'd love a Kwak in the green / white / blue colours
  18. Wouldnt that be entertaining with a Busa motor !
  19. well at least it was only once unlike the 14 times and 3 cans of peperspray to subdue the poor brazilian in sydney all while handcuffed and being sat on by 6 coppers http://m.heraldsun.com.au/news/true-crime-scene/taser-death-family-vow-to-get-answers/story-fnat7jnn-1226305635158
  20. Everything go's in mine... Bricks, concrete, Tyre's (take the saw to them) all go's... Mate's got dozen's of them hidden away, I didn't like to ask where from..! Only thing he can keep his animal food in that the mice and rats cant get into. I told him an old deep freeze would be better.

  22. I know a farmer who's a bit of a live wire. One day he found his gateway blocked by a parked car, He towed it down the the street and left it in the road, steering lock on, handbrake on, alarm going, chain from his tractor around the tow bar...
  23. Yeah, I get mixed up between UK and AU. The Gpz/Gpx is still on sale here. They have been top sellers for years. Recent changes here mean now learners here get a restricted licence and can ride anything that's in the L.A.M.s class of bikes. Up to 660cc but of limited power. RGV and TZR250's are OUT, but 600 Monsters, 550 Zephyrs and DR400's are in. We get stuff like the new 300 Ninja. http://www.kawasaki.com.au/ninja300/
  24. I live in a narrow through road that forms an L-shape, Its just wide enough for 2 cars to pass. Our end of the L has plenty of parking, bigger house's, double driveways, other end has little. Folk like to park outside their house's, but it's 1st in best dressed and some cant. A couple of times folk at the other end BOTH park outside their houses, blocking the road. Anyone turning into, or driving down the L finds it blocked and has to reverse back out onto a main road or back around the blind L bend. This is quite dangerous. There is parking further along the street. Option A: Sitting in the car with my hand on the horn for several minutes late at night (bringing most of the residents out into the street) seem's to have almost cured them. I do have Option B and C but my Mrs says i'll go to jail..
