  1. What do you want to do? Do you have a dream for your future? Have you enquired of the Lord as to what your gifts and talents are. What are you good at? What do you like to do? Why don't you use this time to assess your strengths and weaknesses. Then you could view both categories as it relates to what you want to do. Then as it relates to your dream, what you're good at and so forth? I know it looks messed up. I feel your frustration. I empathize with you. Just keep praying and remember that the enemy of your soul wants you to be frustrated, and for you to feel alienated from your loving Father. The enemy wants you to continue to look at your situation instead of the good things that Father is doing for you right now. Father will show you the doors He has opened for you when it is time. He may already have a door open, but in frustration and confusion, it may not be obvious. Just have faith, and trust Him. Get up asking Him for wisdom and direction. Go to bed at night and get a good rest. Psalm 127: 1-3 says that it is a mute point do this, whether you are guarding a city, or a house if God is not in the situation with you; God gives us good things while we sleep. Do not worry. Literally. According to Isaiah 30:21, whether you go left or right, listen to the voice behind you which says "this is the way that you should go; walk in it."
  2. AMen, I truly am praying that that spirit of depression, oppression, and obsession be cast off of him and into the pit, and that he become chemically balanced in his mind and body, that he submit himself to God, that he begins to resist Satan's wiles, and concentrate on the word of God which is able to save his life. I will be praying for your friend tonight, m.
  3. Amen, and Amen. I agree. Thank you Lord.
  4. I pray that the Lord Bless everyone who stopped by to read this prayer, and those who maybe didn't have time as well. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you. May you be the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath, the lender and not the borrower, live in houses you have not built, eat food you have not had to labor for, may your children bless you and have long life, may your accounts be filled so that you overflow into the lives of others. May sickness flee from your household of faith. May the Lord give you a song in the night, tell you a secret in the quiet hours of the morning, and give you peace and surround you with the protection of the angels. May every weapon the enemy has against you fail to launch, may every attempt to confuse you and trick you be hindered by the Spirit and by wisdom and innocence. May you forgive your enemies, and may that be a launch pad for your promises to come through. May wings of healing fly to your doors. In the name of Jesus, I ask these things for you, and ask that the Father place a hedge between you and the enemy. In Jesus name, I thank you, Father. Amen.
  5. Thanks, Virtuous. Many times, I feel like I am talking to myself too, making sure I do what I gotta do!
  6. Well, praise the Lord and bless His holy name! You are certainly welcome, at any time. To God be the glory.
  7. Amen, I stand in agreement with the prayers said here today. May you be comforted by the love of God.
  8. Go 'head, Bahama mama Wishing you God Speed and protection, provision, and a very wonderful time.
  9. In short, ask Him for wisdom. Ps 1:7.
  10. Not trying to jump on you, Change. I have had to do this myself in certain situations. If I was honest with myself, I would not be asking God, "Is it me, Lord, that needs to change?" No, I would say, "Lord, it's me. So change me. Help me to change and to be the person who You have destined me to be." I started proclaiming the promises of God for my life. I would take a situation, and say to myself, "In the natural, I cannot deny that I have no money. But I know that Father has the world and all its fullness. I know that I live in Christ continually, and Christ lives in my continually, and I can ask Father anything I want and it will be done for me." Then I started marinating on the book of James, which many people don't like. It makes them take a hard look at themselves, that's why. James 1:22 says be a doer of the Word and not only a hearer. So when James came to the part where I didn't have because I wasn't asking, and when I asked, I couldn't get what I was asking for because I had wrong motives, I was defiant. But the truth is that the Word is a lamp that makes you see the real you. You will never see yourself if you don't look in a reflection. You will never see your true spiritual self, if you don't look in the mirror of the Word. You will never change inside if you don't let go of anger and bitterness and replace it with the word and prayer. Then your change will come, and it will be reflected on the outside, too. I want to say that I started by waking up each morning thanking God overabundantly, for several minutes, several several minutes at a time. Then I would list all the things that I was thanking Him for. Then I would recite the Lord's prayer and ask Him to give me Heaven on earth today. Then I would sing praises to Him and tell Him how wonderful He really is. Everyone wants to be loved, appreciated, and thanked-we get that from God. I know this works. The word of God says that praises are our weapon, and wisdom brings prosperity. People can love you all day, but you can't receive it as long as you have that barrier of negative emotions, doubt, unbelief, and pessimism. I don't mind you being upset with what I am saying, Change. Please keep in mind that what I am saying to you is what I have paraphrased straight from the bible. Maybe you know all of these things already. Ask the Lord to help you live what you know.
  11. I just refuse to be distracted by the enemy. Almost everybody here is a real encouragement, and I love the way each of you manifest the gifts that God has given you to dream, to interpret, to prohesy, to edify, to exhort. Thank you, ladies.
  12. Again, thank you for the word today, ladies - I both agree and appreciate it. I too have been surreptiously ignoring the ranting posts, as I thought answering the posts would only encourage, and not discourage the behavior. I want to make sure that I have clarified my stance when I say there is only one Judge and Lawgiver, as it pertains to salvation, not judgement as it pertains to right and wrong. We are supposed to judge right and wrong behavior according to the Word, and not what we have a personal believe of. Whenever we have a personal belief that is different than what the scripture clearly expounds, the personal belief is the belief that should be kicked to the curb and revamped. Virtuous, you are right to say that it is not lovely to let people continue in error. I know I ignored some of it, because my response may have been harsher than what I would have intended. After all, the Lord drew us all with love and kindness - and sometimes I can be blunter than I think God wants me to be. There are boundaries that have been set forth for those who use the site. Where people fall outside of the boundaries there is confusion and disorder. I would like to think that everyone wants peace, and to benefit from all the wisdom that flows in this site, but it would not be true. I am looking for some fruit from the rants, but we all know that fruits don't grow on a sapling. Prayerfully, this person will grow in wisdom as they spend time in the Word. correcting someone. We use those three words TOO lightly to justify not receiving correction; especially when we actually see ourselves in what is being said. THAT’S what the Word of God does for us. When we read it, we’re suppose to see ourselves…the ugly parts and all. THAT’S how we get cleaned up. THAT’S why the word should not be compromised. If we don’t STAND on the Word of God, just as it is…we are going to be held accountable for it. I agree with you, Virtuous, Cholette, hillobeans, princessdelia. Have a great one.
  13. Me too. How dreamy! Love the changes that take place, the harvest, the fall of leaves, the cooler temps, the football games, the outdoor bbq's. Just heavenly.
  14. Dear Jesus, we need you, Jesus. We need your healing grace. The strength of your mercy. We want to see your face. We abide in the secret place, of the most High God. We abide in the shadow of the Almighty Lord. A thousand may fall at our side, but we won't be afraid. Ten thousand at our right hand, but still in the Hope of Israel, and the Fear of Isaac, we trust. No weapon formed against us will prosper. Turn it around for Chuck's good and for the good of his family. We cast out this spirit of sicknes, curse the tree and pluck out the roots in Jesus name. We replace it with healing, that good and perfect gift which only comes from Father God. We thank you for Chuck's healing and we believe you to cover all other areas that are invisible to our fallible eyes, but Lord we know that you see and discern everything. What you do is marvelous in our sight. May you receive the honor, the glory, and the power and recognition forever. May heaven operate in our earthly realm today. May we receive of you our daily bread today. Father we pray that you forgive us our debts that we accumulate today as we forgive those who have offended us in like manner today. Lord, thank you for your love, tenderness, and nearness. In Jesus name, we celebrate in thanks, Amen.
  15. Ohhh, I felt like that too when I woke up LTWJ aka Kimie-Kimie. What a wonderful surprise to see this post, you two. I was just thanking the Lord, and calling on the Name that is above every name, and I could feel miracles taking place. I used to think that this was how I felt when I felt the fall coming. Now I know that this feeling is Holy Spirit quickening my insides!
  16. I totally agree, Dove, and also wanted to add that the Lord will allow us to be tested in different areas of our lives, and one of them is the area of integrity too. So, you see, even though the Lord does provide, He also wants us to walk in integrity. No matter what you decide, Christa, if you function in integrity, the Lord will cover you. It may look rough, but the end result-you'll see-will be the Lord will work it out for your good.
  17. That would be off the chain. So exciting to think that maybe one day that could happen for us.
  18. And, bingo, what Virtuous and Cholette are saying. Hush, now, little child of God, and Know that God is not confused about what He is going to do for you. He doesn't go, "He is the one," "Oops, no, he not the one." The spirit will affirm what the Lord says. I have had people speak things over me, that they said the Lord said, and I would have loved to receive it, but my spirit was like, "Unh-uh, don't you belive them!" I even had a couple follow me to my spiritual mother's house, and when they were sure I was there, a chrysler pulled up and their pastor was in it, and he wanted to be invited in. But my spiritual mother would not even entertain the madness. They were trying to get me to come be a prophetess in their church. Do we have to go through all that drama? They scared me to death, because I was young, and not used to folk acting that way, especially folk I didn't know. I still got clay 'tween mah toes.
  19. Oh for the days when we learned our vocab from the Sugar Hill Gang, the BBC, and PBS, ahhhhight?! :roflx: :giggle:
  20. I agree with your Pastor...not all prophecies are for now...the man that he was speaking about to you may not even be the man God told you was your helpmate...it could be someone TOTALLY different. We only know in part and when we simply place the prophetic words on "the shelf", God will begin to unfold. I believe you assumed it was your helpmate because that's where you are right now, but I also believe in imposters...individuals that the enemy will sometimes send to throw us off track. I've seen it happen with several of my friends over and over and THEN the real one shows up. Don't discount the word...it may not be for now...it could be a glimpse into something in the future. That is a wonderful word, Cholette. This is why Proverbs 27:17 is so relevant for the believer, because friends do sharpen each other-iron sharpening iron. And you are right, an imposter may well be on his way. A Doppelganger, a twin. I had that happen to me too, and the guy was nice, saved and sweet, but he was not the one. I was tempted to make my prophetic puzzle piece fit too.
  21. wooo-ooo...I must really have been sluggish when i wrote this! My bad, Christa. What I am saying is that sometimes employees end up getting indicted with their bosses, even though they may actually know little to nothing. I was in that situation, and I walked off of my job, because the Lord told me to, and just in time, too. I am not trying to frighten you, because I know that things are rough and you have already been looking for a job. Before you left, had the seasons of your job changed, where it was no longer comfortable for one reason or another to work there? God can use anyone to bless us, but we also have to discern when a place of blessing dries up. One thing I can tell you, is be careful who you discuss these things with. I am not saying don't concern yourself with the situation - what I am saying is that you would be surprised how many little birds can carry messages that you don't intend for others to find out. I am truly praying for you, girl. You have some radically tough decisions to make. But you can do it.
  22. Blowing you a kiss. Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might, girl. You always comfort me, and I am doing the same for you, but I know this was a word for you.
  23. Well, I can say this. If an indictment is done on your boss, the employees under him may be involved too. I know that things are hard, but trust God to work it out and put you where you need to be.
