  1. Oh goody, I can't wait to see the clothes. Tie-Dye... Yayyyyyyyy!
  2. It's a teddy bear...what's not to love?
  3. My Immortal- Evansence (I think that's the spelling of the band). I really like this song, it's very haunting and beautiful.
  4. Thanks. My husband thought it was a wild idea, but it did keep me from burning the soup. Otherwise I have post it notes with the time the other dishes are finished. That works well too, since I am on the computer pretty much all day, doing writing and stuff.
  5. Okay, I am crazy. I don't like or play Restaurant City, but PS cooking is kind of fun. I only wish they would come out with more recipes to try. But, the kitchen timer is really a great thing. My husabnd always knows when I play PS because he hears it chiming at weird intervals.
  6. So here's the deal. Every morning when I do my visits for PS, I have the kitchen timer next to the computer. I set it for ten minutes, make some soup, and then go back after it chimes. Is this crazy or does anyone else have any special ways to do the cooking? I think it's maddening that one has to make 65+ dishes to level up.
  7. Sounds like fun. I'll be here, after all, madness is my middle name. Mwahahha.
  8. Yeah, not even close...unless there was pumpkin thingy in the mystery box. Hahaha.
  9. No kidding. I don't want to get in a car at all. Thankfully our supermarket is only 300 meters away and we can walk.
  10. Good heavens. That would so scare the beejeebers out of me to see someone on the road with a car like that. Eeek! Of course, two years ago, we got hit by an elderly woman who was checking on her dog in the back of her car instead of paying attention and adhereing to the right of way rules here. It cost her insurence a good 3,500 € to fix the repairs done to our car.
  11. Hello-a by Mouth and MacNeal. I don't know why it is on my iPod, but it is. Hehehe.
  12. I love cookie crisp when I feel like gorging out on unhealthy stuff. Otherwise I stick to Müsli, a German made grain cereal. It's tasty with plain jogurt and raspberry marmalade.
  13. Tiddly Winks will have a banquet prepared when you cross over to 47. Yay!!!
  14. I think my only regret is joining up on Bebo after they had stopped running the Easter stuff. Hi Jinx got the daffodil dress, but never got the bluebell dress.
  15. Let's give a cheer out to Lea75, whose pet, Rosie, is about to step over to level 47.
  16. I generally love the snow. But, it's just too much. I haven't seen anything but white for the last two weeks. I can't wait for spring.

    More bad news

Thanks for the info Lea, of course my thoughts and prayers are with those affected and the country as a whole. Blessings to all.
  18. I have been reading up on everything involving this contest and I'm really sorry that things didn't go as you hoped or anticipated. Being something of an artist myself, I can understand how much work you put into this and the disappointment you must be feeling. I had a look at some of the 'winners' and I must admit that I was not all that impressed with what I saw. I guess because I am a Pet Society player and have never stuck with any of Playfish's other games. For me, there's only PS. That's also why you won't see me getting into the Restaurant City, Country Story, Crazy Planets games. I just don't have any interest. Seeing as some of the winning entries were from those other games, you can see that my interest in looking at all the 'winning' entries was pretty much not there. If you had won, then I would have had another chance to admire your work. That's just my opinion and that's why I won't darken the doorstep to the official forum. I find this one to be much nicer, and I am really glad that I submitted my song here instead of at any other forum.
  19. In the spirit of PS, I just watched Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
  20. I'll try and make a point to stop by and see what's going on.
  21. Me too, when men get sick, the world could easily come to an end. But, I love him so much I will do what I can to take care of him. Soup and crackers for lunch.
  22. Welcome back to the forum.
  23. Good morning. Here we still have snow on the ground, and a lot of it. It's very cold too. Today, I have to defrost the refrigerator, and am not looking forward to it. BUt, I hope too to get some writing done. With my husband home sick today...I doubt I will be getting a lot of work done.
  24. I'm not really an autograph collector. I have been to quite a few concerts, Chris de Burgh (naturally and at the last two concerts I got to shake his hand), Gregorian (Masters of Chant) (which I did get their autographs, some hugs, and chatted with them), DJ Bobo, Cliff Richard, PUR (German band), Helmut Lotti, Fool's Garden (which reaped getting a CD signed). Most of those concerts were several years ago. Now I pretty much only go to Chris de Burgh shows or Gregorian concerts.
  25. Many thanks for the well. Alls well that ends well. Hehehe. I'm really grateful. Sent a little snack with a great big:
