I am about as computer un-saavy as a person can get. I don't think PSFC would ever consider me for their technical team unless they needed someone to completely eradicate the system!!! Right now, I can't even figure out how to open Firefox from my email program. That is, all my emails are getting error messages for websites that people have sent to me... And I can't figure this out at all... All I was trying to do was get rid of Google Chrome because we prefer Firefox. Maybe that's what my husband is for...he can figure out what I messed up. I guess I best head to the kitchen and make a steak dinner. :35:

Another update: After the last couple of days and a bit of nailbiting, I have wonderful news to report. The operation happened yesterday (Thursday) and it was a success. Papa is on the road to recovery. The whole family is overjoyed and on behalf of my family here, we want to thank everyone here for their positive thoughts, prayers and support. It means a lot to all of us. Tonight, I am opening a bottle of champagne and my husband and I are toasting our Papa's recovery and affirming his clean bill of health. Thank You God!!!

The surgery should happen either yesterday or today, my guess is today. I haven't heard anything, but I appreciate the support that I've received here. I will let you know what happens when I hear something, It could be as late as tomorrow when I hear something. I heard that he will probably be in the hospital for two weeks and then have to go through recovery. Mama has her 70th birthday on February 18, so I will see both of them then,

That's pretty much what I figured. The funny thing is, several days ago, someone actually had a warning about these scams in their facebook status. I read it and thanked them for the heads up. I won't get involved in any groups now. I guess there are some that are okay, but I think I'll stick to this forum since I don't access the Playfish forum anymore.

My favorites are 'White Christmas', 'The Polar Express' and 'The Muppet Christmas Carol'. Those are the films I watch every year at least once. Generally I watch 'White Christmas' three or four times.

Wow, I guess I must have crawled out from under a rock. This was the first time I had actually gotten an invite for one.

It's just not my cup of tea is all. If that's what people want to do or watch, it's cool, it's just not my thing. In Germany, we pay for cable tv and all we get are realtiy shows copied over from the US. I am glad that folks can get psyched by something on TV, but sadly I cannot.

It sounds like another reality show to me. I think I'll pass on it. Between things like this and these superstar shows, TV has gotten so unimaginative. I guess my age is really showing, huh?

I got invited today to join a group that offered 200 free cash coins. I am a firm believer that there is no free lunch and that this was a scam. I was just wondering if, by some act of God, if this was legit, if Playfish was endorsing it or if it's another con job that some users are coming out with to get those who want cash coins to get locked into. I ignored the invite, but still am skeptical as to whether or not that was even legit. Anyone else see this? I'd post a screen cap, but since I ignored it, I don't have it anymore.

I haven't been back to the official forum in ages. Too much negativity and back stabbing. I don't need that in my virtual life. Sorry to read about your artwork. I actually had something like that happen some years ago. I had actually sent a story to a 'friend' and she sent it to everyone on her friends list, and this guy posted it to his website without permission. When I confronted her about it, she played dumb and said that she didn't send it. I later found out that she did. Her actions got my story rejected by a professional publisher because it was 'available online'. Not fun at all, and really not fair. I ended up getting my story back but the damage was already done. Boy was I frosted. I empathize with you and hope that the person will have the decency to take it down.

Just testing to see if my second signature graphic passes the test. A quick question, when I posted the picture in full screen mode, it was fine, but when I went to half screen mode, the pictures went to two lines. Please let me know if it's okay as I have a terrible time with trying to figure it out, and I have this thing about graphics being too big or too many.
