Thank you. Mama and I spoke on Thursday, and they are getting ready to go. I was glad that we got to talk, and hope that this afternoon I can call them. I'm glad that I'm not the only person with great in-laws though. I could write a book on all the weird looks I get when I refer to mine in such a way.

You make some interesting points, Sillybob, but I think that it all boils down to questions of ethics and whether or not people can concur as to whether cheating in a game is a moral thing to do. Were we taught as children that cheating is wrong? Does it take away or add to the experience? To some people cheating takes away from the experience, to some, it has become a normal aspect of game play. I was at a place online where cloning game pieces was fine. I pretty much stayed out of the discussion of it, but some nice folks did send me a bunch of rares. Am I wrong for having them or for accepting the offer? Maybe, and I figure that regardless, I would still be doing my visits, earning my coins, and enjoying the game. Am I whining for raising these questions? No. Do I think that people should agree with me? Again no, I don't. I guess the thing with me is I am on a different ethical stand about it than the people at that place were. It doesn't make anyone 'right' or 'wrong', but it does make certain people react or question things in certain ways. Given my world view, I have pondered these questions deeper than most. It doesn't mean that it's an automatic 'you hack or clone' = 'you are bad'. But, I think I would feel myself more inclined to put my faith and trust in someone who plays the game fairly than I would in someone who publicly announces to the world that they cheat in a Social Game like PS. This was why I made the analogy with the wallet, it boils down to trust.

I was just thinking with all the talk about the newest films that go on here, I'd thought it would be fun to dig through the movie archives and pick out some favorite classic films. I'm talking about films from the 1930's-1970's thereabouts. I know that many of these films were made before many of us were born, and considering that I was born in 1970, proves it. I can start, some of my favorite classic films are: Breakfast at Tiffany's The Court Jester The Five Pennies To Kill a Mockingbird The Fleisher film 'Gulliver's Travels' Does anyone here have a favorite classic film?

I never even contemplated posting anything I made over there. I don't think the people would appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into the creative efforts of others. I can always appreciate the things that other people make because I, myself make things by hand and know that there is a load of work that goes into them. I have been making clothes for about five years, and stuffed animals for about 10, and the people who appreicate those things the most, are those who have an artistic outlet and know the amount of work that goes into the various projects. I would say the same as Joe99, they are jealous and don't deserve your energy.

I grew up in Houston, Texas. Two snowflakes counted for school being closed and everyone who was on the roads went nuts. I lived a snowless existence for close to 25 years. I then moved to Germany just shy of my 25th birthday, and have experienced my first time in the snow. The first winter in Germany, we had snow, and then when we lived in Jena we had snow. Now, we live near Frankfurt, and last year we had two and a half weeks where it was sub zero temps (in °C) and by the end of the cold snap, I was so sick of snow.
