  1. Still not sure about what will happen for Christmas. My mother in law says that maybe Papa will be in the hospital over Christmas and our trip will be cancelled. I am trying to stay optimistic, but it seems to have been a hard year for lots of folks, not just us. Trying to stay optimistic all the same.
  2. This is unbelievable. I have never had this sort of luck before. I actually got two snowmen tonight and opened less then ten boxes in about a ten minute span of time. I didn't even go offline, because I forgot to. I am totally in orbit about this and these are not even my favorite MI's. It just does my heart so much good to be able to actually open boxes and find these items without being dependent on hacking or cheating. There is justice in this world. Yay for the good feelings that come with finding something on my own.
  3. I just finished watching 'Miracle on 34th Street' (the newer version with Richard Attenborough). Love that story.
  4. I was having problems, then I updated the flash player, and everything worked fine after that. You can only have 30 gifted items, though so I started feeding them to Layla Jane and she started flying around the room and doing amusing things. It was precious. They did come up with some original ideas for the game. Some aspects were not taken from PS and I was laughing out loud at the pets and their antics.
  5. Happy St. Nikolaus Day everyone. This is the day where it is customary fo find sweets inside one's shoes. At least here in Germany. Today, we are possibly going to a Christmas market, if the weather plays nice with us. Yesterday it rained much of the day, so we stayed home.

I think this rule is a welcome change. Thanks so much for instituting it. I love to look at people's signatures, but I really don't like tons of graphics and having to scroll, scroll, scroll, to get to the next posting.
  7. I will have to do that tomorrow, I reached my limit. :blush3:
  8. That's pretty amazing. I wish I could play the piano. I do play the flute, but not nearly as good as she plays the piano.
  9. I do think that anything, no matter what it is, if it involves pets, people will decide that it is a copy of PS. While I agree that PS is best, I do play Petville because I think it's cute. However, in all fairness, Playfish did the same when they came out with Country Story. Farming games were popular, so they got their hands in the virtual cookie jar too. That game came out after a bunch of these farming games were introduced and had been proven popular. I think playing Petville does not make me any less loyal to PS, but it is a cute game. I even took a screen cap of my pet because I really like her and think some of the graphics (although not as good as PS graphics) are cute.
  10. I know how that is far too well. My husband's father is going to the hospital on the 14th. Take care and hope that Dan is alright. It's sometimes hard to stay strong in moments of uncertainty. Hopefully there will be answers soon.
  11. I believe in true love as well. My husband of 14 years and I are still as in love today as we were when we got married. I am deeply blessed by him. He's truly my very best friend in the world. I don't believe that love is only defined as a mother and child. That limits it to only women, and I think men are just as capable of expressing love as women. Also, my relationship with my mother ain't all that, and today, we're barely on speaking terms. I'll take my husband's and my definition over that any day.
  12. Favorite band: The Monkees Favorite singer: Chris de Burgh
  13. Trade completed, many thanks for the safe and fast trade.
  14. Yay!!! I just managed to get second row (to the side of the stage) for Chris de Burgh's Moonfleet concert tour in 2011. Better news still, my husband got us sixth row seats for Chris' September 5, 2010 concert in Mainz. I am in orbit!
  15. I've been having issues with the game this morning. I would go to my pet's second room and get a blank white screen. Anyone else encountering this?
  16. I figured that it was a cheat...as there is no way that someone could have 20 of one thing. I find it unethical to do that, and then to show it off like that. But, I will keep trying, I just don't fancy spending all my coins for white wallpaper or black trousers.
  17. Wish me luck. My husband and I are going into town to see about getting some good seats for the Chris de Burgh concert in Mainz. He's my favorite singer, so I want to have the best seats possible. The best I have done so far has been 3rd row. I want to get first or second row this time. But we'll see.
  18. I am really sorry that you feel that way. No one likes to be scammed or yelled at, and I would have the same feelings as you if it happened to me. I haven't been taking part in those things that you mentioned, so I cannot comment on them. I hope that things will turn around for you and that you will feel welcomed. You have been nothing but nice to me, and I hope that I have at least reciprocated that gesture.
  19. I like the new items, but excuse me while I get sick to my stomach. I have someone on my friends list who seems to thrive on showing off. I have spent close to 10,000 coins looking for mystery box stuff, to find nothing from last week or this week, and she's got two sets of stairs full of the new items. I don't know how anyone can have so many of them so quickly after their release. We're not just talking one or two of the new items, we're talking about 20 of each one. If the same people are always finding hordes of this stuff like this, and others aren't, then where's the fun in that? I am not upset about not finding anything, but I am upset that it's the same person who displayed an army of nutcracker bears last week and now has about 20 of the new stuff this week.
  20. Yesterda y I got 50, today I got 90. I'm not thrilled with it, but oh well.
  21. Hello and welcome to you both. Hope you enjoy your time here at the fourm, and that you'll enjoy yourselves..
  22. Glad to see you here, Trinity. I have been thinking about you and hope that you are doing well.
  23. Okay thanks. I would be willing to trade for it. Sorry I didn't check back sooner. Things got busy here.
  24. Welcome to the forum. It's a fun place to hang out, and the people are great. Hope you enjoy your time here. It can be addictive though.
