Yeah, in Germany the schools along the Baltic Sea coast have been closed today because of snow. Here we have snow, but not the extreme like there. We're opting to not driving anywhere while it's going on. The German government said that people should store some food, but at the same instant they are saying we should avoid going anywhere. So what's it gonna be guys? -
My hope or prediction would be a sixties theme, with love beads, paisley, tie dyed t-shirts and tons of Sixties style decorations for the house (before anyone asks, no drugs...smart pets just say no!) I would also love to see a Fifties diner theme with poodle skirts and such. I know we have jukeboxes and such, but I would love to do a room like the show 'Happy Days'. I wish PS would come out with a poodle skirt. I love skirts and tops and that would be a dream. What else??? Maybe a Masquerade week, where pets can dress in costumes that are not Halloweenish or scary. -
That's not the Margarete Steiff elephant. I am trying to find the original blue elephant that the replica was taken after, but this one with wheels is pretty close. -
One of my friends has a daughter who loves wolves, and I actually found a wolf from Steiff. When I sent it to her last year for Christmas, she got the 'Steiff Lecture' from her mom. I had to laugh at that, but yes, the Steiff things are wonderful, but many are collectors items.

No that's fine. I was just going with what you had offered the others, but I thought 18 was a bit much too. 9 is just as many of the mats that I have for trade. Since the sell back price is less than the GMB price, I am pretty flexible and will help you out.

I have been a member of the Steiff club for nearly a decade, and I have to say I really love the blue elephant plushie that PS introduced this week. It reminds me of the blue elephant that Magarete Steiff made over 100 years ago. This was how she got started, by making this pin cushion. It took off and today Steiff products are world reknown. I am overjoyed that they released this. I'm going to add this to my 99 collection. Thankfully they are not TWS items, otherwise I would never reach the 99.

I am a diehard Gene Wilder fan, and love Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I used to watch it all the time (whether sick or not). I love that movie. It's been a lifelong favorite of mine. When I am sick, I will watch just about any classic movie that I can find. Musicals outside of Willy Wonka are the only thing I won't watch, simply because I love to sing along, and singing with a cold is a big no-no.

I think mine was trying to collect 99 crystal balls from the fortune eggs. I have six, and have pretty much given up because fortune eggs seem to be passé. -
I don't really know, it was some setting issue with the email. It's solved, thanks to my better half.
