Each day, starting today (14th of December) if you log into Happy Pets you will get a really neat gift from the game. Collect all twelve and you will receive for free, a mini elf glowing cat. They are utterly sweet kitties from the picture on the game. So, don't forget to log in each day to earn your way to an elf cat. It's a great idea.

I just got the last of my Christmas shopping done, thanks to Amazon.de. I have only one more gift to get, and I will get that while we are visiting my in laws. It will be there where I will get my husband his presents. I leave on the 22nd, and am really excited. Now I have to concentrate on our choir concert which will happen next Sunday. Oh and Sven's cousin's family needs presents, but I think we can work something with them. We'll be seeing them on Friday.

In the spirit of 'A Christmas Carol' they have released ghost pets. These are really neat pets to have (I actually broke down and got a cat...may get a second before the smoke clears for breeding and sharing with all of you). They are glowing invisible pets. You can see their outline through the glow, but they take the color of their background. I am really glad that they finally released something Christmassy in Happy Pets. The rudolph doesn't thrill me because I hate those wheels, but these ghost pets are really neat. There are other ghosts if cats aren't your thing. For me the cats are all I am interested in and since there are no bears in this variety, I'm safe....at least for now.

Just put a horde of glow and multiglow cats in the trader. Please help yourself to them. I will add more to the trader when I get it cleared out. This is my fighting back against Crowdstar, giving cats away like crazy. FBC offspring. If you want certain cats, post here and ask. I may have offspring in my hotel. There are some FBC cats in room five. If you want purebred cats, let me know.

I haven't been posting a lot of updates about the game, because I am simply getting put out with the whole thing. They want real money for absolutely everything and as you all know, they have made adopting pets harder with no rush delivery and a 20 credit charge on instant adopts. Several of my friends have quit or are in the process of quitting and a lot of these people are those who have (like me) invested real money into the game. These friends have given away many of their pets and have pretty much chalked it up to lost money. I would probably be on the verge of quitting too. That is if I hadn't already have spent so much on it. I am sticking around the game, but I am not really active with the breeding and training like I used to be. I will still accept social breeding requests for all pets regardless of where I got them (bought or gifted). I have managed to make space in my hotel, so if you are looking for something specific, the just have a look around my house and see if I have a pet to your liking and we can social breed. Basicially, what it boils down to is Crowdstar is hastening to do damage control because they have irrepairably destroyed the trust between themselves and their paying customers. Many of us have played without paying a dime and still have randoms, or special pets and that's how I'm going to continue playing, with the intention of giving out so many pets as I can. What each individual player decides to do is strictly up to him/her. However, it does make me grateful that we can all still play Pet Society without having to pay an obnoxious amont of money.

Lisa, so glad your kids are safe at their schools. I had a public school education that I would not trade for all the tea in China. I learned so much about how to get along with other kids, and it was a fun time for me. I guess I can say that having gone to school during the eighties. The fashion may have been questionable (as we saw in PS) but it was good. I think schools should have something like what you described. Some may say it sounds like a prison, but if it keeps the nasties outside, then I'm all for it. Children should be safe at school. I may not be a parent, but I do think that child safety should be a priority for everyone since we were all children once upon a time.

I won't start harping about my feelings about home schooling at all, but things like this make me seriously wonder. There has to be a way to protect those in school from nut cases, specifically hut cases with guns. I guess there's a lot of issues around it though and blame should not rest entirely on schools. The place where it should rest is on elected officials as well as the laws that govern each place, but that's just my honest opinion. Glad you are safe.
