    so annoyed!!!

I coiuld vent for days about how dissatisfied I am with certain places. Just yesterday, we waked the 2 Kilometers to the supermarket to buy some imported pancake mix. For the last month, they have not managed to get the price of the mix into their computer. I am going to send a gripe message to the supermarket's headquarters. We have tried on three differnet occasions to buy this stuff, and the salespeople are about as clueless as they come. They simply will not put the item into their computers. I was livid, and we walked out without buying anything. You'd think they would get those items into the system, but I guess they are too lazy. I wish companies would not treat their customers like morons while they are reaching for their wallets. Grrrrr. I sooo feel your pain and frustration.
  2. I'll color them too, but the limits would have to be the same as in the original post.
  3. I remember all too well what happened last year. the clocks went back an hour the weekend I flew home, leaving me with one hour (instead of 2) in Amsterdam). I was running through the airport, having an astma attack and trying to make my connecting flight. NIghtmare. I did make it though, but my lungs were seriously rebelling.
  4. I think you can move the original wallpaper back into the garden. I haven't tried it, but the original walpaper and flooring is now in my chest, so it should be moveable.
  5. It's the stringent copyright rules. I can't watch anything, not even the videos you post to the side of the forum. They won't let people watch anything. It's really gotten out of hand. I have been a due paying member of GEMA (the musician's union here) for the last 10 years and understand the rights of musicians and such, but when they prevent an artist from putting their own stuff out on youtube to get people to listen to it, then I think they are shooting themselves (and the artists) in the foot. If no one can listen, then no one is going to buy the music. It's really plain and simple...but they don't seem to grasp that at all, and I wish to God that someone with half a brain would explain it to them.
  6. I am so angry right now. Everything I click on gives a message that says I can't watch something here becuase it's owned by Sony Music and they won't let it be played in Germany. I think they are just over the top with this and it's aggravating the beejeebers out of me. I'm getting really upset. They claim to own everything. But, when Chris de Burgh's production company puts out a new video on You Tube and it's blocked by Sony, I reach the point where I want to say that their, so called, copyright proection here is completely over the top. Youtube used to be fun to go to, but anymore they won't let people watch anything here. I tried to watch the film 'Summer of my German Soldier', which is impossible to get anywhere, and I get this same crummy message. I now am to the point of telling Sven to get a job somewhere else where we can at least watch something on You Tube.
  7. it is, but if you want, send a breeding request to me, maybe it would work with the idol.
  8. Our Halloween was 100 shades of awesome. This was the first year that we actually got to do something for the day. I dressed as a witch, and we went out with the children of Sven's cousin. We walked the streets and there were children everywhere trick or treating. Some of the people in their neighborhood was having street parties with bon fires were playing music and singing. The children got tons of candy and the people were really great. We had an absolute blast. The cheese hat that Stas sent to us last week, Sven wore and this was a huge hit. Everyone was pointing and children were asking him, 'what are you supposed to be'. Their parents would say 'a slice of cheese'. We went back to their house and had pizza and had or lovely 'wheat drinks' (aka beer). It was around 11PM when we left and went back home. We were tired from the exciting evening and immediately went to sleep.
  9. I found a machine that I think I may go with. One because I already have an Acer and I like the matte screen, but also because I'm an old dog, and we old dogs like things stable. This computer has everything I really need, and it's cheaper than the Dell and the Toshiba. I read more negative about the toshiba and the Dell is, sadly, too expensive. So, I will probably get an Acer Extensa 5235
  10. Happy Birthday. Hope you have a lovely day.
  11. He's a masher all right. Shows up in Tiddly Winks' bedroom unannounced. She has to enlist the help of her boyfriend, Kasi to get rid of him.
  12. Actually no, since she's doing it for free and it's not an official competition. I'll be willing to dye the wigs too. I have the two tables as well.
  13. I know, I grew up in Houston where Compaq's headquarters were before they sold out to HP. Sad that this history seems to repeat itself. I knew people there who lost their jobs too.
  14. My husband lost his job at HP, which is why I am boycotting any HP product.
  15. If you overdose on candy you may look like him. Just kidding, hope you have a lovely time. That picture always cracks me up, but then again...I'm weird. :bat2:
  16. Ah now, it wasn't too bad...especially after you shared the virus with me! (we just sat around the living room with laptops) Actually, it was a lot of fun after I felt better. Stas' kitty Aberdeen kept me company and gave me the 'I want a kitty' ailment. I remember laying on her sofa with her kitty laying at the top of the sofa watching 'Cat TV' (looking out the window). I'd raise my hand and give him attention. It was sweet. Then after we both got better, we were able to hit the mall. But, next time we're gonna stay away from Sparro! (Cheap pizza place consisting almost of 40 percent grease).
  17. Okay, I won't get a netbook, the screen is too small, and if I want to do net surfing and other stuff here, I feel like I'm squinting. That's why I don't have things like iPhone etc. I simply need something that I can see. The netbook also has a teeny tiny keyboard which makes writing harder. It's like playing a piccalo instead of a flute. Dell may be a good option too. I think Sven had a dell when he was working at HP, so maybe that's a good option too.
  18. Sounds good, I think I'm really leaning towards the Toshiba.
  19. Nice job, I wish my closet in real life was that organized, too.
  20. I want to use it to check email, web surf, play PS and write. The only thing is, I am hooked on my writing program (word, which is really old) and would like it to be able to run it.
  21. Okay you already knew that. What I need help with is deciding what kind of laptop I should get. I will take anything under consideration except Hewlett Packard. I adamantly refuse to buy anything they put out...for pretty obvious reasons. So, please tell me what kinds of laptops are good, and what kinds are not. I am hoping to have this before Christmas because I want to spend the holidays with my PSFC family and not have to go to an internet cafe to log into facebook (that has officially creeped me out). So, I am open to suggestions. A real life friend suggested Toshiba, but said that I should avoid Acer because their newer stuff is not that great. This is a pity because my old one is Acer and I really like it.
  22. Feel better soon. I remember all too well getting the flu last year around this time and annoying Kokonee an extra week. Being sick is no fun.
