Okay, here's the deal, I was never into anime at all. Now I am actually getting into some verses of it and thought I'd start a thread about it. It started with My Neighbor Totoro, which Kokonee got me into. I mean, the cat bus is just the coolest thing. Well, yesterday while we were at the grocery store, Sven said that he'd buy me a DVD as a pre birthday gift. So I went through the cartoon DVDs and found one called 'The Cat Returns'. It's put out by the same people who put out Totoro and I loved it. Now I'm reading fan fiction about it, and ordered the English DVDs of both it and Totoro. (They are only in German here). I guess the old addage of the films only having those terrifyingly frightening big eyes is false. This stuff is really good and the fantasy is just wonderful.

I'm interested in the soccer one, but all I have to trade is the pumpkin outfit.

I always get depressed around January and February. So cold. Christmas is great but after New Years, I want to go into hibernation.

my brain is absolute toast. I have been in and out throughout the week, and my brain has hiccupped so many times, it's not even funny. Thanks Lucky Strike for PMing me about the trade. It's just more evidence that my brain is simply in the non functional phase. I just wonder if that will be a good excuse if I forget to send out Christmas cards this year. I'll try to do better.

I carry my iPod everywhere. It has all my favorite music on it. I even put Sven's favorite ACDC CD on it so he can have some of his music when we are on the road. I can't really get excited about Christmas until after my birthday passes. Once that's over, then I'll be decking the halls big time.

Oh I love St. NIcholas day. We have candy in our shoes. I always try to find something nice for Sven to put there on that day. It's a wonderful tradition.

Our first advent is the 28th of November if that helps. That's usually when people start decorating, but it would seem that Christmas comes earlier each year.

I gave up on the block party thing ages ago. I guess they got accused of being like PS, so they didn't do it.

I know, I have had my issues with it these days too. I've just been going in, cleaning Layla Jane, making sure her food bowl is full, and then logging back out. It's aggravating.

Not me either. I gave that up after I got married. Lucky for my husband.

I want a Christmas movie theme. Stuff about classic Christmas movies. Maybe even clothes depicting those movies or the styles of the time they were made.

Danny Kaye movies always make me feel better. I take my pick of 'The Cout Jester', 'Walter Mitty' or 'The Inspector General'. If that doesn't help, chocolate!

We actually sang the music from Carmina Burama some years ago, so whenever I hear O Fortuna, I always remember that time.

Another shameless plug from yours truly for some really great music. This group is really good, and I have actually met several of the members of it in the past. Their new CD has the Carl Orff song, Oh Fortuna from Carmina Burama. It's amazing.

Our stick has been ordered, and today we got a new carrying bag for it. So, I'll soon be good to go. I will test it out when we leave town for a couple of days on the 14th. I love the new machine, it looks great.

Grrr, it still won't let me in.

There are just too many things to collect. I am pretty much not going to do much, but like some of you, I don't go to the cafe at all. I hope they come out with some new stuff there. To me the cups are neat, but a bit big for normal table placing.

PS is not loading this morning. Is anyone else having loading issues?? I'm getting seasick.
