More cats have been added to the trader. There are some beautiful cats there. -

TV's in bedrooms? Not really my thing, but to each his/her own. Today, Sven's off to do some flying, which will leave me alone to do some writing. I am hoping to finish one story and work on another. Last night there was a huge Oktoberfest party and I had trouble going to sleep. Ugh. Next week is going to be busy: Monday I have choir, Tuesday a cookout with Sven's union (he's still in it even though he is presently not working), Wednesday Oktoberfest party at the airport, Thursday...nothing (whew) and Friday, we leave for the North Sea and will be gone until next Monday. Who'd have thought that things would get this busy and it's not even Christmas??? -
I wish the staff could take credit, but this was all Lisa, and she did a fab job with it. Kudos to our awesome admin. -
My husband does so as well. But, my husband said that it's also about keeping the stuff the right temperature. That is, taking purchases home as soon as they are bought in the dead of summer etc. He's even more wary than me. -
I always throw stuff away that has expired, or we try to eat it before the expiration date. Food is one thing I am wary about, particularly since my brother in law got food poisoning when he was younger from eating meat that had expired. Not good. Yes, I know that meat and yogurt are two different things, but I guess being married to a chemist really does make me think about stuff like that.

Yeah, Steiff is big here. Now that it has bought the Mohair company Schulte, I am doing tons of business with them. Here's the bear I got last year at this same 'meeting'.

Hi everyone, today is the day of the Steiff club meeting. This will start later this afternoon. Then eventually will have to figure out what I need to take next week. We leave for the North Sea coast on Friday, and will be away until Monday the 11th. I am looking forward to it, although I know that I will probably be stressed out beyond belief when I get home.

I've never noticed anything out of the ordinary. I do notice that when I run two games in two different windows, it lags, but that's probably because my poor computer is taxed. -
