Found these in Mid Valley today. Most of the cars were from Jusco. I was only expecting to land just the AMX Jevelin, but there are other variant 08 cars with colors that i like. All green and orange apparently. And decide to pay a visit to TRU to see if anything nice at cheaper rates was there. And surprise surprise.... a Chevy T-Hunt! My first T-hunt this year. hahaha. Also landed the elusive F430. So the green cars at Jusco did hint at something after all!

Just got these 2 items these afternoon. Had to get the 45th anniversary Mustang 5 pack again. And gotten another green Brit Speed just to feel how it goes. I think the green if way much better loking than the blue one. Now the yummy stuff. The cars are just too realistic to pass off. Cost a lot at RM33. The first one i had was also RM33. Cannot find it at Jusco when there was this RM26.90 promo. Anyway its a crazy coincidence this background has almost similar color to the cars. Below, 65' Mustang Below from right, 99' Mustang & Mustang Cobra Below from right, 07' Mustang & 92' Mustang Oh yeah btw, the cardboard packing on the 5 packs are seriously thin. They are not hard like 3 packs. So box look ugly after i stick velcros at the flaps to store the cars back.

Sorry Kurz, i didn't mean to degrade u or anything. But his car looks like it came out from a cheap China designed/made stuff for less than 5 bucks. Yes to fans, its ok to get just to complete it. But to some which fanatize looks, it would be dreadful. Its not that the color is bad. Its just the proportion and how the parts are matched. I think it can be a great product. Masito just messed up on this one. Anyone ever noticed Maisto never ever got their hot rod, muscle and blinged up cars wrong? Thats their niche and speciality. U give them latest cars and plonk them into the Lowrider/ Pro Rod inspired design team, and this Green Evo is the end result.

Pheonix where is this Jusco? Looking for the above car variants. I think the quality is pretty ok. Been quite the same since the last few years i collected. But sometimes it has to be the paint used and also how difficult is it to make the cast mould. Also the service duration of machines needed to maintain quality and consistency. I wouln't mind plastic or metal base. Because those cars aren't being abused anyway. But if i were going to play crash and burn like when i was a kid, a metal based car would be an advantage. Other than that, the excuse to have metal base cars are merely to be resold based on kilogrammes to buyers. hahaha. I cannot see how having a metal base relates to quality. But i do find it distrubing Mattel is charging high prices for plastic base than metal ones. This is the only argument i could agree on.

IMHO, the Evo X lights are not done properly, the body isn't correct to proportion, the wheels are ridiculous. Compared to the Evo X from HW, everything is just wrong here. I dunno la. I think like kena rip off 20 bucks for this. I'm sure they rushed this car just to make a tie in with NFS games. Kind of a waste as the finishing is really bad.
