Got a 2003 Vairy 8 yesterday like the one below. Image courtesy of www.southtexasdiecast.com Guess who are in the tampo. The car was made in Thailand and issued together with its first edition made in Malaysia. Interestingly, this car also appears in the tampo on the bonnet. What a happy find! -
Couldn't understand why a car has such a name. Asphalt is like tar used to build roads while assault means a sudden violent attack. So meaning this car is very powerful, running very fast and its tyres are attacking the road surface. -
I was told that it had been released in Malaysia.

I like this year's car but I have not seen one on the pegs. Are they rare?

In Penang. The next day I went there and checked, it's gone! At Amcorp, I saw a few but selling at RM30 and above. -
Saw the Bat at Giant but I didn't grab it. Likewise for the Monster DD. May be I'm too old.

Not all the TH cars are nice, esp. those regular ones. Recently just came across one regular and I chose to keep my RM 8.00. -
Feel reluctant to get one more. Though at RM 4.90 only. Instead grabbed two other cars I didn't have (sort of not that popular) -
The 2012 Lamborghini Gallaro (my new avatar) is very nice. Nice car, tampo, colours, .. It's a hard to find item! Lucky to find one today. Its dark blue colour is close to black. Image courtesy of www.hotwheels.com. -
A sun roof could be a better option. With such an option, I guess Mattel would have no choice but to put in the interior bec. it is easily noticeable. Who knows the cars would then sell like VERY hot cakes!

Hi Stulio Thanks for your help. Frankly, I was quite disappointed. Message to Mattel: I suggest a new version of it and better with no roof but with full interior. I am too happy to collect them all!

You need a torch light to find out! Even with that still difficult. Unusual for a HW car with empty interior. Happy investigation!

Is the interior of this model empty? No seat, no dashboard, ... Just got one yesterday, it is empty. Please confirm.

The New Mini Challenge is another nice casting. I only got the blue one. I saw some red ones but clipped together in three with other two cars and I did not grab it bec. the cards were spoilt.

The new silver colour Porsche Panamera is quite nice except with no interior. -
Now and then you can admire the two buses!

Saw several Subaru Imprezza and so disappointed by the plastic body. The light colour of the body coupled with unpainted surface exposed the ugly marks of plastic especially on the roof. -

The '11 Ford Fiesta is very cool. Very nice tampo though I know nothing about "Block", very nice car with exagerated big wheel arches, ... Guess this is the first car with a two-colour base, just wonder how Mattel did it. Thank Mattel for producing such a master piece.
